Wisconsin pride in vintage style

This tee is a wearable nod to the state motto and the Blue Badger State nickname, rendered in a retro collegiate sketch aesthetic. It speaks directly to residents, UW-Madison alumni, and fans of Wisconsin identity who want their loyalty visible without shouting it. The design centers on the iconic “The Blue Badger State” phrase paired with the enduring “Forward!” slogan, capturing the spirit of progress that defines the region. Whether you are heading to Camp Randall or just running errands in Madison, this graphic tee keeps your Wisconsin pride front and center.

Design details and comfort

This graphic tee combines a navy blue ink illustration of a badger with a speech bubble saying “FORWARD!” against soft white cotton fabric. The unisex fit makes it suitable for daily wear, casual outings, or game day events where comfort matters as much as style. The vintage sketch graphic adds character, distinguishing it from standard screen-printed souvenirs. You get a breathable, durable shirt that feels broken-in from the first wear, thanks to the quality cotton blend.

What does ‘Forward!’ mean in Wisconsin?

‘Forward!’ is the official state motto of Wisconsin, adopted in 1849. It symbolizes progress and optimism, often associated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison spirit. When you see this meaning of Forward on apparel, it connects you to a long history of Midwestern resilience and ambition.

Is this shirt true to size?

Yes, this unisex tee follows standard US sizing. For a fitted look, consider ordering one size down; for a relaxed fit, order your usual size. This shirt fit ensures versatility whether you prefer a snug silhouette or roomier movement.

How do I wash a graphic tee to prevent fading?

Turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the print. Use cold water and mild detergent. Avoid bleach and high heat drying to keep the navy blue print vibrant. Following these steps to wash graphic tee items will extend the life of your favorite Wisconsin souvenir.

Who is this gift for?

This is an ideal gift for Wisconsinites, including UW-Madison alumni, current students, natives, and tourists visiting the Midwest. It works well as an alumni gift for graduation, back-to-school, or holiday occasions. If you need a thoughtful present that resonates with local culture, this tee delivers.
