That or I thought he would drown in a freak accident when he was sprawled out on the floating dock while Roman and Shiv were debating what to do Honestly it does help to slightly recontextualize his relationship with Logan as well as Logan’s comment to Tom that his only job was to give him a grandson. I can’t believe exactly why I love this show so much is the exact brutality that gave me the ending I didn’t want He knew that putting Tom as CEO was his ultimate move. Removing Shiv from his board but knowing she was never going to concede her vote to Kendall. Of course Lukas picked Tom, any other candidate would keep Shiv in rage. He had nothing to lose. MY GOD WHAT A MOVE. I see a lot of comments on here about Shiv’s choice being based on a “power move” or desiring more influence through Tom than she would have if Kendall were CEO, or the fact that she’s comfortable in the shadow of Tom as she was in the shadow of her father. The problem with that is that Tom has no real power or influence. He’s not the new Logan – Mattson is. Tom was chosen because he would be the most unobstructive mouthpiece for Mattson. Also, Mattson hasn’t evidenced a ton of loyalty, so how is it a power move to operate through someone who can likely be fired in a heartbeat? As opposed to having control of ATN, which is right in her wheelhouse and the object of her political hatred? Nah, this was either some sort of weird love for Tom or out and out spite for Kendall.

I don’t feel closure on Ken. He’s my favourite character and I have no idea if he’ll kill himself tomorrow or if this will positively change him. Thoughts? I don’t think this sub ever actually understood this show going off of that live thread. In the end i think Roman won, because he understood just how empty they where and might go on to better highs, Shiv has willingly walked into a loveless marriage that will make her a very power-full woman but miserable, and Ken… i don’t know where that “ which one” comment came from, but the guy has some shit he needs to deal with, and is definitely at his lowest point, most probable ending for him is he starts using and partying and furthering himself for reality even more, truly a sad but logical ending for him
