I think the The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt and I will buy this mere fact that she seemed to come out of her shell got her the praise. The performance otherwise was meh I’m stumped as to why and how Nymphia chose Jane Goodall. I get that there’s a slight banana connection there, but it was a stretch. Her runway definitely saved her. I think there’s a ton you can do on Snatch Game with someone who’s recognizable but not the same kind of pop culture icon like an actress or a singer. Jokes about science, jokes about chimpanzees, jokes about nature, something to subvert Jane Goodall’s public persona (like the Simpsons did, as many have mentioned). 100%. It could have been funny if she was like, writing down notes about the other contestants like she was studying them and then she could talk about them and compare them like she was studying chimps. There’s definitely comedy potential there.

The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt

We’ve had lots of non banana goodness though. From the The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt and I will buy this red look, the wedding dress, the tie look, little boy blue. I don’t feel like she’s been unable to show diversity. I really feel like she got nervous and weird and bombed. Might not have mattered who she played. It Could have been a great idea if she’d just dragged it the hell up and made it stupid. Then it would have been on brand and iconic. I kinda feel like she didn’t really understand that it was supposed to be more comedic. Either she played it completely straight…or so dry that I didn’t even get a chuckle. I’m glad someone else thought this. The whole thing just felt off in some way and it’s hard to put my fingers on, but I think you explained it pretty well. Ru needs to be harsher in the pre-challenge meetings like she used to be. If it’s a bad idea, or the impersonation isn’t giving in the one-liner they usually do for Ru, shut it down!! Snatch Game is getting more and more watered down every year because of all the mediocre choices.

The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater, long sleeve tee

And even that first part was… questionable! I know it’s drag, but that hair, makeup, and even the The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt and I will buy this statement necklace wasn’t Meghan at all. It was zombie Ozempic Meghan whose boobs deflated but her hair kept growing post-mortem. It just never works when the queens choose some Conservative TV lady for Snatch Game– it’s never fun because they think it’s automatically clever because we hate these people, so the extra work to make it charming never happens. Detox’s Nancy Grace, Jasmine’s Betsy Devos, and Dawn’s Meghan McCain. I think Aquaria’s Melania worked because it was totally made up– she wasn’t trying to make any particular point, so it’s not the same curse. Same with Viv’s Trump. Even when you’re doing someone unlikeable you have to do the work and give your take on (and as) the character. It felt like Dawn was hidden by the edit this episode. Feels like they didn’t really want us to see how bad it was.

I got the The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt and I will buy this same impression, but at first i thought they were editing out good stuff. But since she said that she she was happy she was safe and not happy with her performance, i really think she got a favourable edit. At this point i believe the producers really thought she gonna be well beloved like willow or crystal methyd… The one Dawn joke they aired was, well, not it. If that was the only thing they thought was worth showing from Dawn’s performance then either it was just very boring or it was a trash fire and airing anything else would make saving her very hard to justify. The producers know the fandom are suckers for a white alt twink, so my guess is they’ll protect Dawn as long as possible. Honestly I didn’t think Morphine was that bad, I thought the bottom placement was a personal vendetta after Morphine called her poor

About this The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt

Girl got an introduction and one question. That’s code for “you SHOULD be in the The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt and I will buy this bottom but we’ve got two for better storyline” Sapphira and Plane were the only really decent ones… Sapphira was fun and Plane was clever, but none of those were all timers either. Mhi’ya was not only NOT a character… but she is basically copying what other queens did on SG before already with actual characters and better… not entertained by it and not buying the character arc they produced for her. The girl flips or flops. Nymphia basically got a free mulligan because of her overall talent. That shit was rotten and I don’t think I ever seen RuPaul be more over someone shtick as it was happening. As Sasha Colby said on the Pit Stop, Ru is usually there to help the queens, she throws soft balls at them all the time, yet she shut down Nymphia with that one—Mama wasn’t in the mood for any more damn monkeys or bananas. IMO Sapphira and Jane should’ve done lip sync for the win then the next episode should’ve been a tournament. Everybody else was bottom 2 worthy Personally, I think Beautiful Balkan War survivor is one for the history books but besides that I absolutely agree with everything said. i can’t believe no one knew who patti lupone was. i’m not even into musical theater and knew who that nice woman was
I love Patti Lupone! I was really hoping Plasma would do her justice and was sorely disappointed. She could be an epic snatch game choice if done right. It’s strange how we as Drag Race viewers look forward to Snatch Game when it is usually one of the The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt and I will buy this worst episodes to watch. Rarely do the Queen’s put in good performances. Even the way it’s edited, you would think there is far more content they could show. The fact we don’t see it, probably is a good indication of how bad the unaired portion actually is. Yeah, people are saying it’s gone downhill, but tbh few Snatch Games are really good, going back to earlier seasons. S4 was already an iconically awful Snatch Game. We look forward to it because when it’s good, it’s REALLY good. For the US regular seasons though, it’s been a while since we saw that caliber worth looking forward to. Probably Gottmik’s Paris Hilton was the last one.
That breastplate Myhiah wears need to be thrown into a furnace. By far the The Atlanta Braves Have Clinched Postseason Berth for the 7th straight year 2024 MLB Poster shirt and I will buy this absolute worst breastplate I have ever seen. Same. It literally looks like it’s made of chocolate. And they’re like solid. There’s zero jiggle to them at all. Like girl Roanyer, BoobsforQueens make really nice breastplates. Shit even Amazon has some decent ones. It’s the bottom always showing for me. It really takes me out of the illusion more than anything else ever could. Jane Goodall should’ve thrown feces FFS. Forget how to interact with people, speak through your interpreter monkey… So much to do with it but she went with “I thought I was giving a lecture” urg wish it was better! The key to improvisation is “Yes, and…”. In this case Plane Jane uttered a “No, and…” and it seemed wonderfully diabolical to me. The “and” is the more important part! The “no” makes more sense for her character so in a weird way it counts as a “yes”, if that makes sense First time I watched it, I thought Sapphira was better. Second time I watched it, I thought Plane was better. It was close though, and I wouldn’t have minded a season 7 style double win. my opinion is that james brown himself is just enjoyable as is saphira, so it worked in her favour to pick him but it wasnt necessarily hilarious enough to cinch her that win. like compare her james brown to kennedy davenports little richard, i just wanted her to really go for it and make it ridiculous because brown is so perfect for that kind of over-the-top silliness but we didnt get much of it in the edit anyways.
