If you’re going to stay, ask for how you’ll be trained and mentored and if they will commit to performance reviews every 90 days. Tbh if you are cool with you old boss and have their number maybe contact them. Worst case LinkedIn message them, but see if they are able to get new employment and recommend you. Obviously this works better if they left for a different job but this is a job searching situation. If you line up another role all you say when you quit is that your previous experience should have justified the The Arizona Diamondbacks Abbey Road 2023 World Series Signatures Shirt it is in the first place but promotion and forced you to look elsewhere. Either get it in writing that it’s coming within X months after X measurable deliverable is reached, or it’s not happening. No “maybe” it’s just not going to.

The Arizona Diamondbacks Abbey Road 2023 World Series Signatures Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I personally do not think there is anything wrong with a trial period, HOWEVER, I would absolutely be sure to get a clearly defined (in writing) clarification on what the The Arizona Diamondbacks Abbey Road 2023 World Series Signatures Shirt it is in the first place but trial period would be (I would suggest 3 months is enough, if they don’t know by then if you’re a fit or not, they’re after free labour), and what your compensation would be after that time. Perhaps as well, you can say ok fine, I can get why you would want to have a trial to start, pay me 5 or 10% more than I’m earning right now to make it worth my time to take on the extra responsibilities for the trial period, again, with a clearly defined end and a clearly defined compensation package when the trial period concludes. Right now, they’re desperate for you to stay. So you can probably squeeze them and they’ll give you a title bump and raise just to keep you from leaving. You have teammates who’ve already mentally quit. People don’t stick around in uncertain times. In particular, if there were folks who really liked your boss, they’re not long for your team.
