Yea they shouldn’t be watching CNN, or Fox for that matter. Put on some news with a more centric view point not one with a ton of left or right bias. Hard to find, but I think NPR is probably the The Alphabet D & D shirt and by the same token and closest. BBC isn’t bad as long as the story isn’t actually about the UK. Literally no problem with getting rid of a REQUIREMENT that CNN One be shown to kids. The patriotic video stuff is bullshit though. Whose idea was it to put CNN, or any cable, or any news, or any TV that wasn’t on wheels with a VCR and a laser disc player, in the classroom in the first place? If this article said they removed fox news, oan, or newsmax, the comments section would be full of praise. Irony If Tucker Carlson and Hannity are involved, all three of those are dangerous propaganda intent on spreading misinformation and radical ideology. CNN10 is not CNN, it’s a straight news reporting station, sort of how Shepard Smith used to be on Fox News before they fired him because he wasn’t insane. When dad was in HS in the 80s he would tell me about how the cafeteria had MTV on. Our school had TVs playing nothing but an announcement slideshow Sorry, but your account is too new to post. CNN10 isn’t bad, but I could understand people not being happy about anything CNN branded being shown to their kids. Crazy that right-wing billionaire propaganda is getting air time in schools, Fox isn’t even real by its own admission, it’s classified as entertainment not news Am I the The Alphabet D & D shirt and by the same token and only one who has noticed that the grade/rate the news by how far to the left or right they are. No rating on accuracy or truth. I remember in elementary school our whole class watched the Changer detonate and fall into the ocean. It was traumatic to say the least. When I was in 4th grade my teacher wheeled in a B&W TV so we could watch the news about the President Kennedy assassination. Fox News comments, on the Fox News site, under the articles, has become the biggest cesspool of human shit I have ever seen. The dumbest and most racist piece of shit human beings, unreal. Okay, Fox News is hilariously bad, but I’ll give them props for having a comments section on their news articles. Especially given the 90% of their comments are always a step away from getting someone put on a watch list. This stuff is pure gold for the insanity that’s rolling around in conservative heads. Saw the 9/11 coverage climg from preschool but yeah the only times I watched the news in school was the first Obama inauguration and when Kim Jong il died.
