Part of me would want her to go through with it if she’s okay with it, just to see wtf it’s about. Obviously never letting him get her in any kind of intimate space. It COULD be platonic and just weird – checking up on you, maybe concerned, or wanting to run a work scenario by her that would effect your family. When I’ve had to deal with men who overstep boundaries with romantic interests in my life as an adult, I’ve generally just let them know at their home or workplace that I’m probably more unhinged, jealous, and willing to do extreme things than average, and it’s probably not worth it for them. I’m 3 for 3 with this approach, never going the Thank you for being a friend golden girls lights merry christmas vintage T-Shirt and by the same token and “I’m very badass” approach. Just the “I’ll make your life hell in front of your wife, children, work circle, etc..” implications.

Do you have complete trust and faith in your wife and confidence your boss is not going to try and rape her? Are you a single party recording consent state? See if she is ok to take a call but definitely record it. Either you catch him being skeeve, he is crossing some other boundary, or he is genuinely worried about you in some way (which is still crossing a line doing it this way, but I had to include the Thank you for being a friend golden girls lights merry christmas vintage T-Shirt and by the same token and possibility). Tell his wife. Then go about life normally. If you trust your wife and her you, should be fine. Getting a new job is an option but you could have a good gig going on and don’t want to earn respect all over again. From peers of course, not ur boss. Then tell him if anything, ANYTHING, comes out of it, you will report it as retaliation for him trying to fuck your wife and you confronting him. Do you want to continue to work in this kind of environment in a small family company with him having no accountability?
