Your life should be like that of our products, namely the tropical fish living in its little and bleak plastic world.

Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt: buy and enjoy this shirt

WalMart is the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this only place I’ve worked where I earned PTO and benefits despite being part-time, and $12 an hour back when that was a decent enough wage. They just need to put a birthing center on one side and a funeral home at the other and you wouldn’t ever have to go anywhere else Sir, ”living wage” is unionized language if you hear someone say this in your workplace please report it to your shift manager ASAP Their amazing core return policy (drag the acid filled battery through the store, to the opposite end of the store to get a replacement, THEN to customer service) is why the walmart near me may have battery acid all over the floors after I may have discovered the battery was leaking. So accurate back in the day lol. Going to Walmart, that fish section was a must-visit. It was the star attraction in our local Walmart other than the built-in McDonalds at the front of the store. Everytime id go to Walmart with my mom, id go see fishes, the live lobsters, and the Ronald McDonald sitting on the bench in Walmart Edit: If you’re in a Bible Belt town where you wanna buy guns at Walmart, you’d be stupid to. Because there is a guaranteed gun store in a 5 mile radius lmao. Their main sales are probably kids on their 18th birthday Back in the 80s my dad took me to Kmart to get a toy. We walked out with two hamsters and all the hamster stuff to go with it. My mom was so mad.
Good. Glad they stopped. Those pet department employees didn’t know how to clean a tank to save their lives (almost no training) and the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this neglect and abuse killed a LOT of fish needlessly. We used to get UPS and FedEx deliveries of live fish every Wednesday and a rep from the company that dealt with the tanks was supposed to be at our store to deal with them. Most of the fish died before they ever came out of the styrofoam containers they were packaged in because the rep never showed but once a month. We were also not allowed to clean our own tanks after they were moved from a part of the store that had drains in the floor and pluming, to a part of the store that didn’t. Which was part of the reason the rep stopped showing, he didn’t like schlepping buckets of water across the store. Yeah pet department is consistently the worst run department at wal-mart. Like I said… very glad they stopped, for the animal’s sakes.

I get it, its quite normal for some of them to die along the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this way.. but this story is just cruel. Imagine being stuffed into a tiny cell with no food for weeks just because your warden can’t be assed to show up more then once a month. Agreed. But most people don’t care about fish because they don’t make any sounds when hurt and aren’t cute and cuddly like a dog. They seem them as decorations and not animals. My kid goes to the pet stores and looks for the worst looking fish to buy. She has multiple tank set ups and gets them back to health before finding them a good home. A while back she found a beta at pet smart in the little container. The person at the counter wouldn’t sell it to her because it was in such bad shape. He said it was probably going to die. She said it would def die if it stayed there. He still wouldn’t sell it. We told him we wouldn’t return it, it just needed a better environment and treatment. Pretty sure the little guy got tossed (or whatever they do). She’s still angry. Their suffering is obviously something that should be avoided, but there’s a point at which this is just negligible. Globally over a hundred million tonnes of fish is consumed as food, and a tiny portion of that was given a quick and painless death. Fish do feel pain and do poses more intelligence than many people expect, but they are still significantly less intelligent than sapient lifeforms like us.
I guess I don’t really see intelligence as being relevant. The thing is having an experience, just like any other creature (human or not). It sees things, feels things, wants things. It can suffer and it can be content. I’m not really sure why “it’s not intelligent” even enters into the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this conversation. When a human has a severe mental disability, should we consider it proportionally “more okay” to starve him or beat him or kill him? It’s a bizarre connection to me, this argument that “I know this creature is in pain, starving, and afraid, but it’s more okay because they don’t have the brainpower to understand why they’re feeling so horrible.” How does that even enter into it? I read that as the rep hadn’t SHOWERED but once a month and was wondering how bad the stank was that it killed off the fish This is probably antithetical to the Wally World experience but if you stick enough live plants in/on the tank they’d only need water changes a couple times a year or so, just gotta add more water once in a while. It wouldn’t work for the goldfish tanks though as far as I’m aware (due to them being carp so they eat/shit like a mf and they cram way too many fish in there regardless) but for the less-overstocked tanks it could work
Not just the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this pet department. My friend worked as a bike assembler for Walmart and he had 0 experience assembling bikes prior to this. Now they just have a lot of them built by third party companies that pay their workers by piece work not the hour. So it’s probably even worse. If Walmart is doing this in my area i might have to apply to be a bike assembler because i actually have experience in the field and Walmart bikes are a lot of people’s introduction to cycling. Could be a very efficient way to get more people into the sport with gear that’s been built properly No they don’t, it’s someone who is in the back just assembling them with no knowledge. Source run a bike shop and have to reverse handlebars and forks for a price more than the bikes are worth
Well to be fair, it’s not that complicated and all of them come with assembly manuals. Pretty much anyone who does not want to pay for assembly becomes a first time bike assembler with zero experience. That’s really on you for assuming they have everything tight on them and not putting the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this front wheel between your legs and seeing if the handlebars are tight. I myself will never trust people to do the correct things, even when buying bikes from pro-shops I always check those things first. 9/10 most people are scared to put that much pressure on the Allen wrench neck bolts. Well to be fair, it’s not that complicated and all of them come with assembly manuals. Pretty much anyone who does not want to pay for assembly becomes a first time bike assembler with zero experience. Do you really not understand why someone buying a service from a billion dollar corporation might have a certain expectation of bare minimum quality standards?
Stop with this “let’s be fair” bullshit when it comes to greedy corporations, I promise they wont write your name down on the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this good boy list. Stop with this “let’s be fair” bullshit when it comes to greedy corporations, I promise they wont write your name down on the good boy list. I’m not defending Walmart in the least bit (Don’t get me confused for someone sucking up to a company that has zero dollars for employee’s while buying 250 million mega yachts). Greedy corporations are going to be greedy, but also expecting the same company to hire 2-3 bike experts across the nation for each and every walmart store is already back at your first point. They are greedy, they are not going to do that as experts expect better payment and treatment. Out of all the BS you can be shoved into working on in Walmart, bike assembly seems to be the best thing to end up with having to do at walmart. I mean you have so many better options like moving 30-50 bags of dog food on a manual pallet jack to pets, then expected to break that down and stock in under an hour by yourself.
Worked there before and after, the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this pets DM literally had no time for that and they wouldn’t assign anyone else to do the maintenance. Not to mention all of the people buying them possibly mistreating them. Goldfish in particular depress the hell out of me when it’s a tiny bowl. my local walmart wasnt so bad because there was a girl who worked there that loved fish so she took care of them. and she’d talk your ear off all about them if you let her. no idea where she is now but i hope she’s working at an aquarium or something because she clearly had a passion Back when they hired people because they were experts on something. Then it became “whomever is useless needs to answer the calls for fish” because any customer buying fish usually wasted that person’s time for 30 to 60 min every time.
The result was people who don’t give a shit about fish being responsible for them, which resulted in all those cool pics of dead aquariums. They don’t want experts. Experts will sit back and realize the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this reptiles or fish are bad off in the store and raise complaints or better suggestions as to not have 25% of the stock die off in the store. I grew up on a dog kennel, worked at another kennel later in life and was breeding reptiles and applied at a few pet places, got turned down at each one of them. Meanwhile they have people there that don’t even realize reptiles needed UV lights, that the also sell in the cage section. That’s because people today decide they are suddenly an X, but have no training in X, but want to post content to social media about how they are totally an X now. What killed them is when I started building cardboard models of the Titanic and sinking them in the tank after I watched the movie.
The really bad part is when I decided I wanted to have real smoke coming out of the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this toilet paper tube funnels. Explaining that burn on the carpet to my dad was fun. Edit: another creative feature was using the little caps from new containers of deodorant as life boats. May have opened and taken a few at the store. We had a fish named Blue which was one of those betta fish that came in the plastic cups. He lived for over two years 🙂 I had a goldfish from there, somehow managed to live about 20 or so years. Ended up giving him to a family friend that had a back yard pond, and the thing grew to a few feet long. It was very store dependent. I’ve been to a Walmart with a very nice and well run aquarium section, you could tell someone on the staff knew what they were doing. I actually still have an angelfish I got at Walmart. Silky Johnson is still kicking, he’s a real trooper after being moved like 5 times That’s crazy! I always had the most trouble keeping the angel fish. It sucked too, because they were my favorite, but after like the 5th one died in a row after just a couple days – weeks, I just gave up on them because they were relatively much more expensive than most of the other fish, especially on my high school budget. I got a fish from Walmart back in the day and she lived for four years, she passed the night after we moved and I was distraught. Actually after that we got more fish from there who also lived 3-4 years
One I got lived about 10 years, but on the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this whole the fish they sold were not healthy or well-taken care of in-store. Probably a good thing. At our local walmart, the tanks were always in awful condition. I bought some tetras from them when I first set up my tank, and the employee, clearly untrained, filled the plastic bag with cold water. Most of them died before I got home. Growing up, I can’t recall the aquarium section looking less than well kept. I (my parents) bought many fish from there for my home aquarium, we always had a good experience. They even had a giant Pacu that was named “Big Bertha” and going to see it was the highlight of every Walmart trip. I always made sure Big Bertha was okay before we left haha.
I used to love checking out the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this fish at Walmart as a kid, I shop at Walmart so rarely that I really only recently noticed they have no fish That aisle at walmart used to traumatize me. The fish were in filthy, tiny tanks, and there were alway dead fish floating. Walmart is truly vile. Those fish were never taken care of at the store I worked at. They would page me to go to the fish wall to help a customer. And I would usually tell them not to buy because the fish were usually sick and they would die soon. Only a few Walmarts in my area had the wall of aquariums with fish in them but damn it was nice to enjoy the fish as you shop. I haven’t been in a Walmart in awhile and haven’t noticed the switch.
Several Walmart stores in Maine lost their license to sell aquarium fish due to the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this way they were cared for in store i.e. not at all. Tanks were often populated with dead and dying fish. I briefly got into aquariums in like 2015 because my sister bought my dad a betta fish unsolicited and I decided to give it an actually nice life. The aquarium section at Walmart was depressing. They didn’t actually employ anyone dedicated to it that understood the fish and the science, it was just a wall of poorly maintained tanks and if you wanted anything they’d call someone from another apartment to get it for you. I don’t like fish, I get squeamish with eels (the Dragonfish they sold made me queasy even) and I know nothing about fish care.
What I did have however, was the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this basic ability to read and comprehend because I knew to keep certain fish separate from each other, how not to put the fish into shock, and all the other basic instructions posted on the little sink area for employees at the tank. I used to work in the pet department and caught+bagged the fish for customers. The poor catfish used to get their sharp fins snagged in the net. I’d have to gently tug them loose, but sometimes they’d get damaged. One gets real talented at catching those fish with time. In 2016, I lectured some poor employee about fish tank conditions. I had no idea they stopped selling them just three years later but from now on, I will think that I helped cause this. Petco, Petsmart and other chains had stopped carrying pet rats Heard multiple reasons, from rat bite fever thanks to irresponsible parents, to supplier issues and ethics concerns.
What about the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this tropical fish deaths from ill-managed fish departments? I could just imagine how many tens of thousands had died needlessly. This news article here might explain why. In 2007, Walmart announced that it would stop selling fish in some of its stores. On a morality standpoint, I’m glad they stopped. Those fish were probably stressed out. That being said i remember always going over to the fish section and looking at them when i was a kid, i moved to another state and the Walmart there never had the fish section. Around 2022 i went back to my hometown and wanted to see the fish but they were no longer near the back. I wonder if the remaining fish stock was put on clearance? In Dec 2014 I bought a fish from Walmart. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I became very fond of Kali. She died two weeks later and I just bawled because she deserved so much better.
I used to see so many sickly looking fish. I also saw a deformed snail once and me and my mom wanted to get it help. More like up to 30% of fish deaths. That place was horrible, at least the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this one near me. I complained to corporate multiple times and they finally stopped selling them, this was well before 2019. Dead and diseased fish everywhere, associates freely admitted they had no clue how to keep fish. If you’re going to keep them then take care of them! I was so glad when the fish tank wall was removed at my local Walmart. It was a sorry state of affairs. More often than not, the dead fish outnumbered the living ones. The employees couldn’t care less. In doing some more research, it turns out that conditions at my local Walmart were so bad that it actually made the news. I feel like this has been a lot longer than 2019. This just brought up a core memory from about 20 years ago when they used to be in the store itself and this just reminded me that they haven’t been sold in my area for a very long time. That’s likely why they stopped selling live pets. Too much job training (that they’re not willing to do), and too labor-intensive. It was also responsible for 100% of goldfish I’ve purchased which were plopped straight into an empty, dry bag topped up with tap water.
Back when I was into aquariums Walmart wasn’t a terrible place to get fresh water tropical fish on the Texas Tech mens basketball 100 seasons 1925 2025 thank you for the memories signature t shirt In addition,I will do this smaller side, like guppies, since they were inexpensive and typically didn’t die quick. However, there was no way I was ever getting any remotely semi legit fish from Walmart. I worked for Walmart in the late 80’s, in the pet dept. Management did not give a damn about the animals. 90% death/attrition rate…. didn’t care. They cared about selling the stuff you needed for the pets, not so much the pets themselves. Makes sense, but they literally didn’t care if any/all the pets died any given week. I don’t know how many times my manager would punch me out (time clock), which is illegal as hell, when I still had animals to feed. “Go home, they can eat tomorrow…” That, along with a few other mismanagement gems, leads me to believe ANYTHING negative I hear about that company.
