Money accounts for a lot (no pun intended) but push forward to a new job when you’re not learning anymore at your current job. Always surround yourself with people that know more than you. This hit me hard!! I’m in a position I’ve had for 2 years, and there is really no room for advancement. Been with the Texas State Champs 2023 shirt Also,I will get this company (very small) for about 6 years. I’m the one with all the answers, all of the time. Cool, but where does that leave my growth potential? I went through a similar career change last year, being in my early/mid 30’s, after working in the same company for almost 8 years. I was weighing the risks but the bump in pay and not having to commute basically made it worth it to me, despite changing my job title, company, and industry. Six months later I found out my old employer shut down the whole division that I used to work for (which was struggling financially), laying off over 100 people who worked in that division. I felt like I got off the train two stops before it went off the rails. Your old coworkers will still be your friends and understand that your moving up in your career. And like others have said above, even if you don’t need the extra money now, future you will likely thank you for the extra money and benefits.

If you have built a solid relationship with the Texas State Champs 2023 shirt Also,I will get this people in your current company, then most likely the door will always be open for you to return if the new company/position turns out to be falsely advertised. In one company I knew a lady who left and came back more than once. Working in DoD contracting is always a gamble. Another reason I am thinking it is time to move on is because all the systems I personally work on are getting phased out or removed. So I would not have anything to do. Been there done that last 2 yrs ago… 80k-120k jump. Then got 10% additional next year made it to 132k+ bonus 20k. I make double of what I made… all in 2 yrs. It’s a tremendous opportunity take it. Yes it’s more stressful and more hours but more money I specifically asked about hours and work like and they said 8 hours a day 40 hour weeks. And no more. They also said that they try and keep stresses down and keep the people off your back so you can work and not be bothered.
