As someone who also used to be afraid of jumbling the Terry Funk hardcore students Funk U shirt it is in the first place but brain chemicals, take the meds. It may take a while to find them, but holy hell, the right ones make an insane amount of difference. Yeah, our situations suck, but if you’re not anxious about it, there’s a lot more energy to make a difference where you can. And nobody deserves to suffer just because our society doesn’t give a shit about us. i agree with every part of this except the imperative to ‘take the meds’. like, if it said ‘strongly consider taking the meds’ and the rest i would 100% agree, but since we don’t ever know everything qualifying our recommendations is usually wise. Honestly, it’s best to not fully rely on meds. Unless you are on critical mental health, talking it out with a therapist and focusing on bettering yourself alongside taking some meds it’s what helps in the long run. Even a life coach can be better if all your problems are just not being organized enough. Your right to be cautious. I take meds and they can sometimes help but sometimes you have to try lots of different ones. Glad you were able to fix the things that were causing the anxiety and get to a better stable place instead.

I couldn’t afford the Terry Funk hardcore students Funk U shirt it is in the first place but transgender health services I needed (therapist was seeing me pro bono) working part-time while going to college. I also had chronic pain issues and couldn’t afford to have them checked out either. Holds up sign: “While I concede your point about needing to address oligarchical, capitalist-driven wealth inequality, let’s not forget that medication and therapy are very effective for those of us that suffer from from mental illness and that seeking help for an illness is okay.” You guys go ahead and raw-dog this shitty reality without any pharmaceutical help. Imma do me and ingest , inject , inhale and apply any and all legal and less-than-legal mood-altering substances that isre going to help me forget we live in the ninth circle of hell. Suggesting otherwise is just thinly-veiled Scientology. Wanted to share this because I’ve always struggled with mental health, and it’s helpful to remember that the planet is literally dying and we are just cogs in the capitalist machine. Some things medication and therapy don’t solve/help with and never will.
