At the Teach love inspire Esl Teacher Things shirt moreover I love this very least I think it’s the government’s job to do something for me. Otherwise I could put my own taxes to use for myself. America, where slavery is alive and well in the prison system. Don’t fuck up, people, or you’ll be treated with draconian cruelty. This first started a few years ago during the Occupy Wall Street protests. That law said (I think) state property. This new law says public property, which added parks and such. They did this in australia in sydney CBD they changed martin place from a public space to private space all because there were so much homeless people they started a so called “tent city” They argued they did it for the homeless peoples safety but no it was because the land value went down alot and what most likely is all the homeless people who were there were relocated to more dangerous areas. The government doesn’t give a shit about you, if your homeless atleast in australia they want u away from their expensive apartments even if they are empty. I suppose jail does take care of the housing and food issue.. but sure is an expensive way for a government to do it… Yes, they go to jail. My state spends all the money it wants on roads and stadiums but actively makes homelessness something people despise.

A large # of the Teach love inspire Esl Teacher Things shirt moreover I love this homeless are too mentally ill to function in society and their family are either assholes or dead Just go to prison at this point. You get 3 meals a day, a warm bed. And most people aren’t going to fuck around with the homeless like that. Probably treated better inside a penitentiary than you are on the streets being homeless in the United States. This is how the system just creates career criminals out of nothing. Instead of trying to fix the actual problem. Edit: answered my own question. The only thing that scares my white ass more then being homeless, is being in prison. If you think they (the rather conservative government of Tennessee) give a crap about that, you are sorely mistaken. It is all about getting the for-profit prisons filled up. What happens if I choose not to participate in society anymore? I throw in my job, sell my house, donate all the money to charity and walk out into the street? Where am I “allowed” to sleep? Where can I set up a camp and live off the land? Eventually a care worker will be along to try and find me some housing etc, but what if I refuse? Fine me for sleeping in a public place – i dont have any money. It seems there is no option, other than conform to societal norms. The above situation would ultimately land me in jail for unpaid fines.
