Just less than 20% their annual take with 10% of their population. Good thing they’re on a population decline. 7th in fishing, 4th in consumption of fish and 11th in population of world countries. Facts are fun. The Japanese do, just the Taylor Hawkins 51st anniversary 1972-2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same as nearly every other country. USA in particular is doing a “great” job with salmon in the PNW. They still have us beat by a long shot total and per capita. The Japanese consume around 23kg of seafood per capita vs the US at 8.6kg. Even considering the population difference Japan’s total consumption is above the US. Of course a lot of US seafood is shipped to Japan because of their voracious appetite for it. Plus they love killing dolphins and whales which is unfortunate. We could all be better though. Edit: I challenge you to google information about the Japanese Whaling fleet that kills about a 1000 whales a year for “research purposes”. Or if you’re feeling really brave google “Taiji Dolphin Drive” or the documentary The Cove.

Looks like every other fish I’ve seenWait, so they’re closing the Taylor Hawkins 51st anniversary 1972-2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this offices so that they don’t have to tell people in person when they’re fired? I was blindsided once they had me take a super late lunch because they were having me finish some stuff up, I never minded late lunches makes the 2nd half of the day so quick so when I was about to walk back in after lunch they met me outside to let me go, allI said was you could have done that before I went to lunch and I could have gone home and saved money on food and gas. My workplace fired an accountant 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday morning during a snowstorm, made her come in Monday and Tuesday knowing full well that it was going to be shitty weather and they were going to fire her. We got like a foot of snow overnight. She made it in like an hour late which still beat half the office, they fired her and sent her home. No reason to treat someone like that, if they were doing something wrong they would be fired on the spot, could have let her go Friday afternoon with a little class. Says a lot about a place.
