Sexism? Catholic sexism nothing compared to Evangelicals. In practice, Catholic women are pretty much equal to the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this 99.9% of Catholic men who aren’t clergy. We all have the same lack of rights and input. The Catholic Church is far more arrogant and incompetent than malicious. They are logical to a fault, but never question the premises their arguments are based nor do they care about the real world consequences of their teachings. That’s where and how they do their damage. “Please. What about the Church’s silent consent to the slave trade? And its platform of noninvolvement during the Holocaust?” That was Bishop Alois Huber who did that, and I am ashamed he helped these Nazis escape the justice they deserved for their crimes.
Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt: best trending this year
Feels bad that my family is joining Catholicism because of how much they like Jesus… when the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this church itself is so unlike Jesus. Not just covering for them. Actively helping them find new victims. Instead of calling the cops they’d just move them somewhere new where people didn’t know about them yet. Then when they’d get chased out of town they’d find another new area for them. Between 1951-2021 the French Catholic Church, so just one sect of of christianity from just one country was responsible for the sexual assault of approximately 330,000
Or that until 1964 the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this Catholic church blamed the Jewish people as a whole for the death of Jesus. Early Christianity is why anti-semitism exist. Putting aside the blatant hypocrisy of the catholic church clutching pearls about what happens in their churches… The archdiocese seems to be going out of their way to be offended here. They took issue with attendees venerating the deceased as “Saint Cecilia, the mother of all whores” Cecilia was apparently a prominent activist for sex workers. It’s not up to me or the Catholic Church, but that seems to be an extremely respectful and appropriate way to pay tribute to someone who may have looked out for sex workers. At least to me. A prominent advocate for sex workers… who does that remind me of? Hippy looking guy, long hair? Ah it’s probably not important why would we be talking about Cesare Borgia? I think they’re talking about the one with olive skin and nappy hair. These same hypocrites would have spit on Jesus for doing similar work with sex workers. The Church hates true goodness. They like to use pain and fear to control. Catholics take the title “saint” seriously. Until recently, it could take a century or two after death for them to declare someone that.

About Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt
Sounds like the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this attendees took it seriously to me? Or shall we start splitting hairs about what is serious and proper when it comes to mourning or believing in god? Sounds like a pretty reasonable thing to be upset about IMO. They were fine with her gender identity and hosting the service, but venerating someone as a Saint inside their church is something they really can’t be seen as encouraging: the Catholic Church is very strict on syncretism and folk saints, and doesn’t want that part of their faith to lose value. Remember that time in the Bible when Jesus was like “judge everyone. Be critical of everyone. Force everyone to live a lifestyle that only you deem acceptable. People you don’t understand or who choose to live a lifestyle different from your own? Shun them with extreme prejudice.” He did say “enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matt 7:13-14)
Literally in the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this Bible. In Acts the apostle dip out of feeding the poor to focus on Church building. Including taking peoples money. (Look it up. The “wealthy Cypriot” who is made to sell his land and hand over the proceeds to the Church.) Classic. Cult. Shit. They delegate the hard and actual helpful work out to new inductees into the cult and the first churches spend a century arguing about pee pees, jay jays, and buttholes. I understand your point but I believe Catholic Charities is the largest non-governmental medical and education organization in the world. Call it a cult if you want but many legacy members have spent lifetimes in the trenches doing the type of work many elite would never do and I think that should be recognized (and of course that doesn’t erase the terrible things members of the Church have done). People who were raised Catholic can still find the traditions of the church (funeral mass) important even if their lived experiences diverged from traditional religious ideology.
Funerals are for the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this living as much as they are for the dead. And if the traditions bring the family and friends comfort, and they respect the dead’s identity, then I see no issues. if I had been so unwilling to deal with the scandalous behaviour of those inside my church, I probably wouldn’t be looking around for other things to call scandalous. Is there going to be a schism in the Roman Catholic church soon? I am not religious and don’t support most Catholic doctrine, but it seems like they’re throwing out a lot of mixed messages right now. There’s a growing section of “Trad caths” that feel that any changes in the church since about 1950 are wrong. It’s kinda funny how many of them are either blatantly white supremacists or dog whistle white supremacists.
Sure. There have always been Vatican II detractors, but we have these more recent things where the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this reforms of Vatican II are seemingly no longer really church doctrine. Or are they? but we have these more recent things where the reforms of Vatican II are seemingly no longer really church doctrine. Or are they? I see that side, but then there is this more progressive, tolerant part from the people at the top (though not all). Their stance on things isn’t cohesive at all, like, blessing homosexual unions while still holding the official stance that homosexuality is a grave sin. On the one hand, they want to look better, but they don’t want to actually change at their core. You can’t have it both ways.
“The Church” has never been as monolithic as people make it out to be, heck its not as monolithic as the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this Church makes itself out to be. For every pedo priest there are priests running homeless shelters, food banks and/or free clinics. For every dipshit bishop that rails against LGBTQ people there is one trying to make the Church more accepting. When you have over a billion people affiliated with your organization you are not going to get them to agree on everything. It is up the people in the Church who want to see change for the better to keep up the pressure and make it reflect Jesus’ teaching more and Middle Ages politics less. Funnily enough, there’s a large TradCath community on tumblr that the rest of us only found out about when blaze went live.
I’m not a Catholic myself and have never been one, but it’s not accurate to broadly characterize trad Caths as typically white supremacist. Cardinal Sarah is one of the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this leading lights of the trad caths, and he’s not a white supremacist – he’s actually West African. Most African Catholics would qualify as traditionalist by Western standards as they would view the event in the OP as morally objectionable. It’s simply a reality that the liberal view of sex and gender held in the West is not accepted by the majority of non-white people in the rest of the world. I am Catholic. A schism wouldn’t be the worst thing at this point. The ones who want to go back to before Vatican 2 can make their own Church and leave the rest of us alone.
I guess he has not read the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this part of the Bible where Jesus hung around with a prostitute, the poor, diseased and the blind then? I just read the article and then the comment section and thought I was in the wrong place. The church let them have a service, knew that is was for a trans person but their complaint was that “But the church objected to the actions of some of the mourners” and that the New York archdiocese before the funeral said this, Catholic liberals praised the church for hosting the service for a transgender woman. Before the backlash took hold, the archdiocese spokesperson Joseph Zwilling told the Times that “a funeral is one of the corporal works of mercy” The only problem the church had was some of the mourners actions. I get it bashing religion is easy but if you want to do something in a church like you got to play by their rules this is just common sense.
Yeah the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this article in the NYT made it sound like the church wasn’t 100% aware of the details but seemed ok with it afterwards. Yes, but why would family and friends attempting to honor someone’s life in a building dedicated to a premise she rejected. Maybe for the friends it was a message to the church but, especially for Latin Americans, the religion runs deep and the funeral ceremony provides a lot of comfort for the family. People who were raised Catholic can still find the traditions of the church (funeral mass) important even if their lived experiences diverged from traditional religious ideology. Yeah. It seems like either disrespectful to the deceased or a fuck you to the church. And if it’s the latter, it seems pretty reasonable for the church to say well fuck you too. Which is what’s happening here. What better way to say a final Fuck You! to the. Catholic Church, especially (but not only) if they were born into the religion. Yes, let’s openly antagonize an organization. That definitely will help us gain support. What a mindless childish reason. The whole funeral (which was pretty short, because it wasn’t a Mass, just a “Funeral Liturgy”) can be viewed on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rtuocj8bKOs&t=3667s
So capital G God decided to identify as a human and transitioned into one via Mary. Since the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this sex of the baby is determined by the sperm, not the egg, it also means that God chose his own gender on Earth. He then went around preaching love and acceptance. This founded a church whose guiding mission has been to abuse children, spread disease, and cover up their abuse from any secular punishment. So the Rapists’ Church of the Unwed Pregnant Woman and Her Doubly-Trans Son Who Hung Out with Sex Workers has a problem with an activist for trying to spread acceptance of people and defending sex work? The actions of activists are intentionally scandalous whatever the venue or there’s no reason to give those actions any attention.
Calling the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this behavior of activists outside or inside a cathedral scandalous is always true, regardless of the funeral or the agenda of the activists because activism and worship create scandal when mixed. There was no criticism or judgement being leveled in that statement unless you’re looking for it, as something else to get enraged about. clearly, they don’t know that “scandalous” is one of the highest praises lgbtq+ activists can receive. oh you silly, old, toothless, stupid institution. Coming from a recovering catholic and born again atheist, that’s fucking rich. Kiddie diddlers buried in the rock of Saint Peter? Say it … hasn’t been policy for centuries…? The Catholic Church participated in slavery, defended the Holocaust, perpetuates the sexual abuse of children for decades (probably centuries), but a funeral for a woman who acted Christ-like by serving others is a bridge too far? Knowingly putting child rapists in positions where they can freely rape kids and bullying the raped kids and their parents afterwards with threats of legal action, bankruptcy and eternal damnation until they kill themselves… now thaaaaats scandalous. The catholic church needs to be dissolved and all its wealth redistributed to real causes that help people. ironically they worship a being who has never been human but identifies as male, calls himself father and uses pronouns of he and him… or do they really think the eternal god always had a penis? I get your point, but your reasoning behind it is kinda flawed. Jesus was both fully human and fully divine. He felt everything we would, and was for all intents and purposes human.
Jesus, canonically having no biological father, had no possible source of a Y chromosome, meaning he must have been born female. However, we know that he identified as male. That’s some statement from the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this religion that’s always been just a front for the largest & longest running pedophile ring in the history of mankind Christian love looking no different than Christian hate. Men who love to dress up in robes and protect known acts of pedophilia within their own ranks are “scandalized” by giving someone a funeral. Glad they enjoy tax exempt status for clear political grandstanding. No it’s not an affront or god only a declaration of control by those losing it. I would say the bigger or biggest scandal was the archdiocese having known sexual predators in their ranks and just shifting them around from dioceses to diocese and never contacting the authorities.
They just have no sense of self. Read the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this room archdiocese. Society is growing and advancing. Catch up or get left behind. They did. During the service they went up and spoke out against and degraded the church. I mean if I invite someone to my house and they tell me to fuck off I would kick them out of my house. Wouldn’t you? Involvement in wars and other atrocities throughout human history, yeah I’d hate to see the fate in store for Catholicism. To be fair I don’t think that one should be having funerals for transsexuals in the same place one is raping children – gotta pick your lane, you know? /s Organized religion is a cult. They dictate what is acceptable and what isn’t. The church shouldn’t be interested in what people wore but what’s in their soul. They’re more concerned about what others will think instead of celebrating a woman’s life as her community comes together. Yeah, the catholic church has the high moral high ground to speak on this. Something about rocks and glass houses comes to mind. “How come I never hear your mob preaching about that?…Those are sins too, aren’t they? I suppose when you’ve a history of screwing the jews out of their money, and collaborating with the Nazis, it’s like the pot calling the kettle black.” God needs gatekeepers I guess? Shouldn’t being Catholic be the only requirement? It’s a fundamental feature of Catholicism that we’re all sinners? If they’re not willing to excommunicate all homosexuals then they need to shut the hell up.
If he knew Jesus, he would be quiet and wash the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this feet of transvestites. Oh and the Pope agrees with me, not him. He has gone rogue. Is it scandalous to have a funeral for someone who… say… didn’t honor their mom and dad? Because that one DID make the top 10. FFUCK the archdiocese. You two faced, backward soulless bunch of leaches on society. Eat a piece of my shit. You are a waste and give bad ideas to your congregations, and are the opposite of everything Jesus Christ believed in. I think this funeral was just fine and dandy. Maybe a bit blasphemous with the way certain language was used and how so many mourners were dressed in sex worker outfits, but it wasn’t all too excessive. Archbishop of New York is scandalous that he can’t see another human being with love. Formalized religion fails to follow simple rule set by the leader they follow. Love your neighbor.
It depends on the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this place. There’s a pub up the road who do really great food, and I’ve seen them give people containers to put their own food in, but I also know someone who used to work there and they often pack it up for customers. This is a good point. I was 100% sure that taking leftovers away from a restaurant isn’t a thing in the U.K. Then I realised I’ve never eaten with anyone who’s left food. I’m a small eater and have avoided eating out most of my life, partly because I can never clear a plate! If it was somewhere casual, I’d slide some food over to my dining partner, or just order a starter, side, or kids portion. I love the idea of fine dining, but I doubt it’s appropriate to ask for a doggy bag or share food across the table at a super fancy restaurant… 🫣
I’ve asked for doggy bag in a lot of fine dinning places, Inc Michelin star restaurant. If you enjoy food, I’d recommend going as there are some spectacular flavours & levels of food. Try & take a nibble out of all & then take it home. I’ll get flak for this, but I tend to freeze some of it too you are being optimistic that you would have food left at a michelin starred place. I am also a small eater but i just go out and have 2 starters or go to chinese hotpot where you serve yourself. The nicer the Tampa Bay Rays mom always cheering glove finding shirt Besides,I will do this place the more deferential they typically will be – there is no reason not to ask. If they had even an ounce of reluctance… who cares? In my experience (which includes a lot of dining out at all sorts of places) I’m much more likely to share food across the table at fine dining because the experience is a lot of “holy shit you’ve got to try this, it’s delicious”
