Feels good to see justice done. It’s amazing what people try to claim is carry-on. One of the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this pleasures of one bagging is never having to deal with that shit. You did good. Often people will assume that a “not max carry-on” bag is your secondary bag, and that it “shouldn’t” be overhead as a result as it takes up someone else’s carry-on space. And that’s justified – I see people put a carryon overhead and then take their purse, tote, or backpack and put it up there immediately. You’re fine, IMO a safer response in the future can be to state that its your only bag (and/or your overhead allowance if you have a personal item). Ugh people with GIGANTIC carry ons are the worst. It’s so emblematic of that grubby side American culture that only thinks of itself.
Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt: A Unique and Creative Design
The easiest solution that I’ve seen suggested is to carry a grocery bag or some other collapsible item to put a coat or sweater into, and shove that under your seat to point to when someone wants you to put your only carry-on under the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this seat. The ‘correct’ answer is that if you tell the flight attendant that it’s your only carry-on, they shouldn’t ask you to move it from the overhead. Edit to add – This has apparently been going back and forth as long as some fliers have been carrying backpacks: I carry a packable tote that I take out on flights and put under the seat in front. It holds things like my water bottle, charging cables, wallet, etc. This happened to my ex and I, the FA YELLED at us to move his bag when we paid for carry-ons. We refused, because he was clearly 6’+ and needed the leg room. I wasn’t going to be out 40 bucks because the FA was oblivious to the situation. He has a jacket so we just shoved in under his feet and sat down. We weren’t even the last boarding group, the FA was so out of bounds, we didn’t even know she was yelling at us specifically because we weren’t doing anything wrong. I personally wouldn’t look at it as right or wrong or jerk or not jerk- I feel it’s more a matter of your preference and boundaries. Some people wouldn’t have the voice to speak up for their desires, you do, the person didn’t like the outcome which isn’t really your concern. Someone else may be indifferent about their bag under their seat and the person with the roller bag would benefit from that.
Both outcomes are okay imo without feeling a need to be the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this police of enforcing a company’s policy when that’s up to the discretion of the flight attendant. The gate should have told him to check the bag way before he got on the plane. They know how full the flight is and can determine how much overhead space is available. The overhead bin is not designated for the seat directly below. You can fill from the front to back, back to front, and everything in between. I’m a one bag packer: 35L pack with a small personal size pack as well. I always put the large pack in the bin, and the small one at my feet. Hate the no space for my feet, but I choose this method as I like to save $ on flights so I have more to spend at the destination.

About this Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt
On my last flight, the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this flight attendant was the one to ask me to put my one bag under my seat. I just looked her in the eye and flatly said no. I could tell she was taken aback expecting me to say yes. My go to in these kinds of situations is always “I don’t speak English”. I don’t ever waste time trying to reason with entitled or pushy. You’re not the jerk BUT it’s always good to have a bag you can pull out as your personal item and put under the seat in front of you. A fanny pack, a jacket, or just a big ole empty plastic bag. Doesn’t matter. How did he even know that was your bag? If he started asking whose bag it was I would probably just ignore him. BTW, how did they know it was your bag? I would just play innocent, put your earphones in and enjoy the view out the window; at least until a flight attendant gets involved and demands to know who’s bag it is which seems pretty unlikely. He was already in the process of manhandling the bag and simultaneously asked my seat mate and I if it was one of ours. I was literally sitting under the bag. Eh depends how nice they were and how short this regional flight is. I try and give the casual and clueless traveler a break. Not everyone is a super savvy r/Onebag travel reader. Most people on a plane are just taking this one flight and need to get it done. They’re rarely thinking about anyone else. I try not to put too much value on the average airplane rudeness.
If it was a normal backpack then you’re kind of the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this jerk because the plane directions are always to put that under your seat (I.e. personal item bags are not supposed to be in the overhead). If it was a carry-on sized bag then you’re definitely not a jerk Nah. You get one up and one under. You never lose the up just because it’s smaller than someone else’s. If all the ups are taken, well that’s the risk when boarding late. Yeah but I assume they just have one bag given the subreddit. So if they didn’t pay for a carry on and just have a personal item, then they should be putting it under their seat. If they paid for a carry on, then using the overhead bins is fine. I might be a bit of a jerk myself. I usually fly Spirit, pay for my carry-on, and also place my personal item in the overhead bin. I’m not sneaky about it, and I don’t try to hide it. I do it right in front of the crew all the time! I know I’m using space meant for other passengers who also paid for their carry-ons, but hey, they should’ve gotten their asses at the airport on time to secure a spot in the overhead bins. Just because they paid for it doesn’t mean Spirit has to reserve a space for them. They should’ve made it to the gate early
I was coming into this thread assuming you did something rude like bump into people or taking up extra space or something. Assuming this happened as you described, dude is a knob and can deal with it. If you’re gonna try and do carry on only, you have to plan ahead or take a risk. They have basic fares which only allow a personal item meant to compete with the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this discount carriers, but I’ve never done that. No but next time consider telling them that your bag is your carryon and that you didn’t bring a personal item as opposed to what your preference is. You’re entitled to put your carryon in the overhead bin. If they ask nicely, then I’d be 50:50 whether it’s a jerk move, depending on other circumstances (if it’s possible to move 1 overhead in any direction, I’d be willing to try). When they demand, 100% not a jerk move. Especially when they’ve clearly ignored the baggage policy I’ve strived so hard to meet. I had this once but the cabin crew insisted that I do it, and place my bag at my feet. You can’t argue with cabin crewI don’t know what American domestic first class provides but I know business in EU you get much more generous baggage allowance.
I’ve scheduled videos a day or so advance, and also waited till the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this video is uploaded in HD and published right away and don’t see a difference In impressions. Some videos I’ve published shortly after uploading have done better than the scheduled ones and vise versa. Had the complete opposite experience lately. Was scheduling videos for the last months and just posted one when it was done and it’s finally actually going somewhere. How far out are you scheduling them? I try to schedule mine the night before but it’s more so it’ll go up while I’m at work the next day I only scheduled that one, my first video, and yeah because I finished late at night and didn’t wanna publish at 2am. I’ve found if I post at an odd time it just means that it takes a while then picks up at the time I’d expect. I don’t think I’ve lost out in the long run Sometimes I have a video scheluded for weeks, but I make changes at last minute and re-upload… how dumb of me. They still let her compete and the hatred was intense from every side. She goes out and completely flounders, fails what seems like every trick, is crying in the middle but has to keep going. Really painful to watch. Then when she is crying at the end her Russian coach is yelling at her and hostile in front of all the cameras, and she was like 15 or so . Your average Russian teenage figure skater has zero autonomy. It’s either do everything your coach says or get cast off for the younger girl who will. And when your entire life to that point has been dedicated to skating, with parents who are often financially dependent on you, that’s not an option. Don’t get me wrong, the disqualification is still fair and I have zero issues with that. You need to enforce the rules. It’s just that she’s a victim of the system as much as the people she’s competing against.
I mean I have some doubt that she didn’t know what was going on – it would not surprise me at all if she had some suspicions or concerns. But I certainly wouldn’t judge her for failing to vocalize or act on them if she did; she’s just a kid. Even your average 15 year old has very little autonomy. You’re still a kid. Your parents are still waking you up to go to school and making sure you eat and get ready properly. She didn’t. That coach is notorious for breaking her skaters’ bodies quickly and tossing them aside. Sounds like even by Olympic coach standards, she’s ruthless. The girl who made headlines some years back for skating to Schindler’s List in the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this red coat had to retire at like 19 with severe malnutrition that had already led to osteoporosis and a very damaged body. She was coached by the same ramen-haired witch as this one. They deliberately pull girls from poor areas and train them away from their families so that they’re more vulnerable to extreme coaching methods. Irresponsible and cruel adults. I feel like they should have made the names of the adults involved more prominent. They had a duty to this child and failed on purpose.
Yeah and Russian skaters will still show up under a flag and organization that is totally Not Russia with a Not Russian national anthem. I love watching skating. But this made me feel bad for even watching. 15 is too young to compete and Russia needs to be banned for the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this foreseeable future. The women’s competition needs to change in general. Only really young (and often undernourished) girls can physically do the jumps demanded. Their bodies aren’t light enough by the time they’re 18 and their joints are often fucked. If the judging keeps rewarding rotations more than anything else, this will keep happening. Cap the jumps at triples. And the excuse that it was her grandfathers medication is insulting. How did grandpas drugs get into your system sweetie? They can’t even be bothered to lie believably. They literally take these kids away from their parents pretty much right after they can walk, dedicate their entire lives to skating, and then cast them off for the next young girl once they burn out or are too crippled to continue at 18. They literally keep the girls malnutritioned to avoid puberty as long as possible (since that adds curves and weight gain).
Yeah, the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this Russian coach, Tutberidze, is a child abuser – literally works these kids until they break their backs, then tosses them aside. It’s pretty disgusting. For anyone unaware: ‘breaking their backs’ is not an exaggeration. Evgenia Medvedeva (Olympic silver medalist, world champion) retired because she literally could not turn her back in one direction anymore, making it impossible to do certain jumps. The only reason why her career lasted until her early 20’s is that she outright left Russia to be coached in Canada during her last years, which was viewed as a huge betrayal and basically unprecedented in Russia. The main difference is that you aren’t expected to compete in most Olympic sports until you’re a full-grown adult. Take hockey for example, you aren’t in your prime years until your mid 20’s. So the Soviets had to include some sustainability into their regiments because burning out at 18 is a waste. But women’s figure skating (along with gymnastics) is different. Your prime years typically are when you’re a teenager. So it works for them to just have a continuous pipeline of children that you push until they break, then replace with the next child.
If anyone hasn’t watched “Icarus” on Netflix, check it out. It starts off about biking but quickly devolves into how Russians used to get around anti-doping measures. Even lead to their Olympic disqualification if I remember correctly. Best scene was the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this main guy in the movie goes to IOC members & US Olympic representatives and proceeds to drop the bomb on them that Russia has been doping for decades. They all started out incredulous that he’d accuse a nation of cheating and then it slowly dawns on them as he’s talking that oh my God the Russians have been blatantly cheating for decades and the second we run these tests we’re going to find out it’s the truth. Probably an isolated incident. It’s not like the entire state-run athletic apparatus would systematically and deliberately dope and cheat across the board..? Valieva continued to skate at the Olympics after rulings by a Russian tribunal and a separate CAS panel did not hold her responsible as a minor.
It’s crazy that the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this award ceremony for this event hasn’t happened up until now. I mean yeah, the athletes now will get their medals, but a precious moment was taken away from them… The fact that they were allowed to compete under a different name was such a pointless punishment. They should have been banned completely. Poor kid. Obviously this gold could not stand, but I really feel for her. She was a pawn but her name bears the shame. No child deserves that. And she unquestionably did dedicate herself and basically sacrifice her childhood to this sport. I really hope she has more than skating to bring her happiness, and that she is ok mentally. Very surprised Russia is even allowed access to the Olympics anymore. It sucks for the legitimate athletes from Russia.
Isn’t it normal for Russia to dope their Olympians? I seem to remember the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this last few Olympics having some titles like this. “A Russian anti-doping tribunal’s ruling announced in January said Valieva, as an underage minor, was not at fault and should not be disqualified from the Olympics” Honestly, I just hope she manages to find a nice life. I’m putting the blame squarely on the coaches and the people that are supposed to be looking at for her. I still stand by that we need the Dark Olympics. Just no limits to what the athletes can use. Become abnormal Gods through man made measures. No holds barred. Everything legal. True glory awaits those who sacrifice time off your life and the normalness of the flesh for the glory of your nation.
They just can’t help themselves. Like, truly, the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this scorpion from that fable. Anyway I’ll take an ultra Big Mac and large fries with a Diet Coke. I always wondered the mechanical transfer of the medals. Do they make new ones and send them out? Is one forced to return the original gold medal? Do the silvers set returned/passed to the 3rd place? What if the original doesn’t have the medal or refuses to give it up? I may lose 5 minutes of thought just pondering what happens. In this particular case, the medals for the team competition never were awarded. The IOC still has the original medals. You know, I think we should let Russia into the next Olympics. I’m sure they’ve learned their lesson, and definitely won’t immediately do widespread doping again. /s
That said, the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this Ethiopian and Eritrean-descended communities are definitely related to all other Jews and are plainly ‘Black’ in appearance. The same can be said for some of the Yemenite community. On the other hand, there is ALSO a Black American fringe movement that purports to be the true descendants the ancient Hebrews: those people routinely spout pseudoscience and are not ethnically Jewish like the other 18-20 distinct Jewish populations that all look very different from one another whilst maintaining a demonstrable genetic connection. Can you point me to this “demonstrable genetic connection” I have a hard to time seeing how Ethiopians and Russians would have a similar genetic connection to the Middle East only a couple thousand years ago there is a sizable Jewish community in Ethiopia, a country in Africa, where the population is African, you know black people
Yes of course, Israel airlifted tens of thousands of Jewish Sudanese and Ethopians in the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this 80s/90s. Operation Magic Carpet. Jewish heritage is passed through the mother so if your mom is Jewish and your dad is black, you’re a half-black Jew. If you’re a woman in that scenario and you have a kid with a black man, your child is Jewish and is also 3/4 black. How black you lookis down to genetics and chance, but for example, Lenny Kravitz is black and Jewish and looks pretty black to me. I was surprised to find out about his Jewish heritage. Eric Andre also is half black and Jewish and looks like he has black heritage but doesn’t look like a typical black person. there are (and have been for many centuries) Jewish communities in Ethiopia, many of them have emigrated to Israel Anyone can covert to Judaism. Israel has taken in black Ethiopian Jews who had been in Israel for over 2500 years. The area 2500-3000 years ago was called the Kingdom of Israel and the a Kingdom of Judea. Jews migrated to Ethiopia about 587 BC or shortly after.
Israel takes in/allows in anyone Jewish. There are 7.08 million Jews in Israel and 8.25 million Jews living outside Israel. Anyone can convert to Judaism. And Jews can choose to worship or not. They can also practice another religion. But they will always be ethnically Jewish no matter what. When black Ethiopian Jews migrated to Israel, Israeli doctors would sterilise them without their permission so they couldn’t pro create anymore and overtime the Tampa Bay Lightning my lineup is all logo shirt and I will buy this black Jewish population will become extinct And white folks wonder if some black folks hate them. White Jews hating black jews? Ain’t religion great? BuLLSHIT They were given contraceptive in the transit camps in africa (where people were dying) with poor explanation. And as a result some continued to take them in Israel. Again, this is bad, and a small number had problems getting pregnant in the immediate post-immigration years, as they were still taking the medicine without realizing – until they figured out and stopped. More like a made up fact. None of those people were sterilized. Some were given a contraceptive so they wouldn’t have kids for one year. After that year, they were good to go again. Legally speaking black citizens have the exact same rights as non black citizens in Israel they are not “second-class”.
