If you’re using the word centrist but not dictating what that entails, people might assume you’re just a nutcase or a pretender with a right wing agenda who says center to dishonestly try moving the needle of opinion. Otherwise it might be more a “where the frick is there a center between arming up to kill your countrymen (something which the maga crowd talked about prior, and still talks about, albeit way less openly than they did when Donald was in office) and a democracy” sort of thing, which is very valid. A lot of the issue is that online you only get attention if you yell and there’s not much to yell at from the center, where in reality most people reside. The unrepresented masses.
