Save money rather than “having too much fun living in Amsterdam”. Also, when I was 19 my cousin was selling his flat for £50k (I’m also from up north, hence so cheap) and offered it to me for £40k, I refused. One of my regrets is that I didn’t do more travelling, partying etc when I was young, but I didn’t have the money to do it at the time. Yes and no. The thing is we all kind of lost contact over the years, I’m nearly 40 now and there’s only one that i still manage to keep in touch with. It’s a consequence of getting older and all originally being from different parts of the country and so on that you will inevitably lose touch. With hindsight I’ve easily spent >£20k on holidays and nights out etc. and that money would have been better spent setting myself up for my future if I’d have known Get braces when offered, I was getting bullied and I didn’t want to give them more ammunition but looking back I can’t imagine it would have made it any worse and I wouldn’t now look like a man wearing an orc’s dentures. I would also have pushed harder for an autism assessment, I’d got far enough to realise something was probably different about everyone else’s experience but hadn’t found out enough to push in the right direction. Most GPs and teachers understanding of such things was very different in the 80’s and it was much harder to do your own research as a kid if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

Don’t feel too bad about the Tage Thompson American professional ice hockey center for Buffalo Sabres T-Shirt and I will buy this braces – I finally got mine when I was 30 – after my parents rejected them when offered as a kid. Dentist didn’t tell me that at the end they’d want to permanently glue a nice bit of bacteria attracting wire to the inside for the rest of my life. Also they scratched the front surfaces of my teeth pretty badly insisting on scraping them clean every visit. 3/10 the assistants were very beautiful though I had my front 2 teeth wired together for a bit to stop them moving until I had a fake tooth put in – I’d had a gap up until then. It’s definitely not the standard experience to have wire in your mouth forever! I used to have a big gap between my front two teeth (could fit a quid through) and I was literally 1mm off qualifying for them. My Father along with My Granddad and every other male family member had the attitude of Big Boys don’t Cry, Men should be the bread winner, Men don’t talk about their feelings and all that bullshit…
