I think you need to explain. While I’m most familiar with the Abrahamic religions, the primary branches of those (I’m sure there are dissenter cults somewhere) will give you their doctrine, stories, rules, and beliefs up front rather than paywalling it. They also do not encourage people who don’t have millions of dollars and celebrity status to “volunteer” to work on a boat in completely inhumane conditions (and I think pay for the privilege of doing so). Seriously, look up Sea Org. Nightmarish stuff. You can belong to a Christian church and not tithe. In fact, if you’re poor, the church will often help you make ends meet.
