It is, they’re inflating those numbers big time. Just looking at the Super-Unofficial-X-Gloomy-Bear-Bat-Shirt in other words I will buy this operation, he’s got pounds but not tons. Mycelium shouldn’t count, each of those bags might grow ya max a couple pounds of end product in dried sellable weight, if ur lucky and nothing goes wrong and you get multiple flushes out of it. Probably in the order of ounces though, they shrink a lot when they dry and don’t weigh much. Even if everything went perfect with all of those bags, a single ton would shock me. At $30 an 1/8 that would work out to just about a ton, which might be possible based on those pictures (depending on if they’re dried or not). What price are you buying shrooms at? The price is obviously going to be the price a buyer would pay, not some wholesale like you would need to actually move 2000 pounds of shrooms. Although I have no idea if a shroom wholesaler exists at all. But at a reasonable $10 a gram it’s under 2000 pounds. And based on the photos I would fully believe he had 1000-2000 pounds.

Jeeeez. $10/g? I am in the Super-Unofficial-X-Gloomy-Bear-Bat-Shirt in other words I will buy this wrong business. I grow tasty mushrooms because I like to eat them. Call it 8% dry mass, that’s $10/12.5g fresh weight, or $800/kg fresh. $100k in sales per year would be just 125kg fresh weight. That’s only like 10 bags a month. The problem was shrooms isn’t growing them. It’s selling them because it’s generally there’s never enough locals that do shrooms regularly and you have to go to shows and transport across borders vs like grow weed in a legal state and undercut the pot shops and ppl smoke regular amounts per week and just come to you like moths to a flame. Shrooms are like you have to go to the market and ppl consume far less daily so they are one of the hardest drugs to move. That’s likely why they’ve never really cracked down on the spore syringes. I would have no problem moving mushrooms locally just within my social circle. There’s a huge demand and very little supply. Too bad I don’t do that anymore. Too old to risk long-term incarceration. I’ll just buy them occasionally when I see them.
