I’ve had this issue before soaked it in White vinegar for a few hours/as long as possible then wash and repeat if necessary 5% bleach in water , if not strong enough rise the Super Bowl LVIII Patrick Mahomes Chiefs VS Brock Purdy 49ers shirt in contrast I will get this percentage little by little and take car to not yellow in the process the sheets. Vanish upholstery cleaner worked for me, but definitely worth fixing the source of the mould, otherwise it will keep returning. Oxalic acid (the stuff found in rhubarb leaves) has a higher chance of working if it’s the first wash , as stains can set in. Maybe worth a try? ts made for tiles but for fabric (it bleaches – beware on coloured fabrics) I swear by HG Mould Remover Foam Spray Surprised I haven’t seen this mentioned from scrolling down (though briefly). Try soaking in oxygen bleach powder (e.g. Vanish or some own brand – just as effective) for as long as it takes for the stain to fade. Could literally take days but I feel like at the end of it, it could be fairly well assumed that any microbiological activity, fungal or otherwise, will vanish at that point. I once had a t-shirt I really like, that I left drenched with rain water in a plastic bag after camping one time. Just forgot about it. Upon opening it was covered in pink splotchy stains literally all over that washing alone did not remove. Left it soaking with that powder for a few days and it came out just like it was before. May be worth a try rather than just chucking as so many are suggesting.
