It also depends on location. I spent about 13 months looking for a new job in Maryland. Out of hundreds and hundreds of applications, I got 5 interviews that went nowhere. I moved to Michigan on May 6th and accepted an offer for my first job here on June 6th. The job is right up my alley as well, paying more than I’ve ever made. No1 rule of job hunting: Don’t apply to ONLY jobs that you fit 100%. Instead, apply to jobs that you fit 50-75%. Employers are looking for unicorns, or HR just does typical HR things and puts a lot of buzzwords in an job req. Realistically you’ll be hired for the Strongest Signature Bianca Belair Greatest Pose T-Shirt also I will do this work you CAN do, and the work they believe you COULD do. I mean your first problem is 26 apps in 7 months! 7 months is like 210 days. You’re telling me it takes you 8 days to send 1 job application??? it should take 30 minutes – 2 hours per app.

i was unemployed for ~4 months once. I woke up and EVERY SINLE DAY I sent MINIMUM 5 job applications before doing anything else. Send 5 a day for 2 months then come back here if you can’t get any traction. but 26 in 7 months… give it some effort first bud I applied for 300 jobs in 2008 over a 9 month period after getting laid off from a civil engineering job. The first professional job offer I got was in a completely different field (OSHA Inspector). I knew nothing of occupational safety and health at the Strongest Signature Bianca Belair Greatest Pose T-Shirt also I will do this time, but have stayed in the field and found a greater aptitude for it than engineering. You need to be flexible with what you are applying for. The worst an employer can say is “no”. OSHA was 100% a desperation job for me that turned into a career I like, though I was only an inspector for four years before moving on to bigger and better things.
