Yes, absolutely. Before I became an FA I worked in my company’s inheritance department, and cannot tell you how many times I had to explain when speaking to someone that it doesn’t matter that the Stitch Christmas mood presents holiday decor stocking Christmas tree shirt Additionally,I will love this will says they get a decedent’s assets, they were not the listed beneficiary and thus had no legal claim to whatever they had with us. The amount of people who don’t prepare a will or fill out their insurance beneficiary info, or heck don’t even have life insurance. Ugh. You can download a will template online! You don’t need anyone’s social security number to make them a beneficiary! Just do it! I made a bright pink 3 ring binder and wrote “So I’ve Died!” on it with a bunch of Lisa Frank drawings. My brother especially was a bit of an idiot and insisted on Doing It Up Right, which would have mortified my mother but we were all shocked by her sudden death so hooray, he added tens of thousands onto the funeral expenses for an engraved vault none of us will ever see. Some examples include Anthony Maglica (the inventor of the Maglite). He had to pay $29 million in a palimony case due to holding himself out as being married. This was in a non-common law state (California).
