My wife is blond and when she’s driving and I notice how many dudes will pull up beside her while driving or at stop lights to look. It’s weird. It’s not illegal or seen as a bad thing. Yet, some people have convinced themselves they own the road and take it as a personal offense that someone would dare try and be in front of them. According to the video (EDIT: someone linked above), it’s even worse, because the girl claimed he was stopped on the road, too. I passed a truck with a ton of political stickers all over it, the dude followed me to a gas station and assaulted me. Like what? He was like 60. We call that over-taking here. How the fuck is that road rage worthy? It doesn’t even cross my mind when someone over-takes me, it’s usually “oh, they’re in a hurry”. I’m trying to think of how someone has the mental gymnastics to construe that as an attack against them.

Then they’ll either zoom away at double the speed limit (for 500m, until they get stuck behind the next car) or they’ll settle in front of you and gradually slow down until you’re forced to overtake then again and start the whole thing over. I genuinely don’t understand what, if anything, is going through their head. This is absolutely in no way her fault, but why did she get out of the car? In these situations no matter who is right or wrong, if there is an aggressive person you should never get engaged with them.
