Go keep reading your wiki and going on your internet diatribes you self proclaimed expert :p In the last 30 years there have been double digit regional wars in the Middle East with significantly (by hundred of thousands) more deaths. Were those exterminations? What is the point of this hyperbole? Do people think if they just keep using the most graphic words possible it will actually do anything? The “logic” that Israel defenders are using could be used to justify murdering literally anyone. You could be the best person in the world, who never did anything wrong to anyone, and they’ll say it’s okay to kill you because a Hamas tunnel was near. This should be absolute proof that their logic is wrong. Israel is a highly sophisticated country with an Iron Dome and one of the strongest most advanced militaries in the world. Can’t they be the bigger man for literally a week or so and let aid in? Food? Water? Stop bombing residents? Just for a week? It’s a walled prison so you can just enforce those border walls with soldiers to ensure Hamas doesn’t enter Israel. So there is no risk. But at this point I have to believe this siege has nothing to do with “self defense”.

Why do you think US brought in two aircraft carriers, aegis, cruisers, nuclear sub? Is it because of Hamas? Of course not. It’s because Israel was also attacked since Oct 7 by Hezbollah from Lebanon and Houthis from Yemen, US quickly said “don’t even think about it”. As for Hamas specifically. I really don’t understand why terrorism always gets the STAY AT THE BATES Shirt and I love this benefit of the doubt. Why “should Israel be the bigger man”. How about, Hamas, release the hostages you took, you get a one week ceasefire to evacuate civilians, then continue fighting. Hamas official already stated in an interview they want Oct 7 to happen over and over until Israel is destroyed, no “free pass” for those beasts They did that for months and then Oct. 7 happened. The border can be locked down but the idea that they are just supposed to sit there under Iron Dome and let rockets fly at them is wild to me. People really have no concept of what that is like. They will likely lift some of the restrictions to the south soon though. “That’s too much to ask for. I’ll give one hour to get aid into Gaza, and whoever is bringing the aid in will get bombed because they’re Hamas.”
