I cook once every 2-3 weeks currently. 3 jobs, one of which involves travel, makes it hard to cook at home more. The last thing I want to do on a rare night at home is dishes. So we do snacky things like frozen dumplings, edamame, pierogi, etc. Premade meals that just go in the Starlite Starbrite shirt and I will buy this oven, like lasagna or pre seasoned meat we can just toss on a tortilla with cheese. Pre seasoned pork to toss into freeze dried noodles with a boiled egg. Cereal. I don’t even have time to meal prep, occasionally I can toss some oats into a container with almond milk to soak overnight. Basically I only cook if we host a dinner party or I find myself both inspired and possessing the time and energy to do it. So 1-2 times a month.

I love how people just start answering this rambling question as if it can be truly understood. Ya’ll are saints. Vegetables, rice/bread/pasta, cheese/dairy, and meat if you eat it, or some other source of protein. You vary what you cook using spices, mostly, it depends on what you have available. I tried understanding from your edits and I’m not sure if all you have available are canned and frozen food. I’ll buy a frozen lasagna and some garlic bread to go with it. Or frozen “Salisbury” patties and serve over buttered egg noodles. I really don’t know how to cook. And wouldn’t want to bother making a mess cooking for one person anyway. I have a lot of ingredients I can heat in the Starlite Starbrite shirt and I will buy this microwave or eat cold. I eat out a lot. Or do door dash. Frozen foods. Premade things at Whole Foods.
