I met my best friend of 20 years in kindergarten because we were both bullied. A fucking gorgeous wonderful lady btw, platonically love her to death, I am gay af, she is not and I’ve never seen her that way. I was a traumatized, quick to anger but never really did anything to the bullies. Tried to kill myself many times in the 2, 3, and 4 grade. She literally saved my life more times than I have fingers. Then 5th grade. I was moved to a different school with some of the same classmates. A different but still horrible classmate told me it was my fault that some of my bio family died in an accident. Punched that bitch in the face. Mother asked me why I did it. I refused to say. She asked me if she deserved it. I said yes and I was never punished. Tried killing myself multiple more times and my best friend saved my ass again and again. She’s probably the only reason I survived. Now I’m 24 and have learned that while violence isn’t the first option, it’s still an option, especially since I’m 5’3 130lb (used to be 50lbs heavier) and not taken seriously. People still pick on me and are rude still but tend to leave me alone when I raise my voice. I’m always nice, respectful, and happy. It’s really funny when people who have not seen my outbursts see one for the first time. I’m an unexpected firecracker with severe anger issues that I usually can control. I do nursing style work and people always tell me that it’s funny I can go toe to toe with this 6’2~ 200lb man with dementia and anger issues (not always agitated and is usually pretty nice) and he will usually listen to me. I only intervene when he’s mad if he’s likely to try and hit one of my other dementia patients (I call him WWIII cheeseburger man to my gf because he only ate cheeseburgers and Cheerios for the first 6ish months I knew him and when he gets angry it is honestly almost WWIII)

Went to lost lands one time and i made a joke during peak svdden death headbanging and lasers “just a guy and his laptop” and a dude in my group started talkin shit about its not just a guy and his laptop theres so much more that goes into it and i could never understand how much work it is. The funny thing is that a speaker had to be placed right where I was standing, so I had to move 2 feet to my left and was then right at the front, again. I also debuted my solo, so I think they were annoyed that they didn’t get enough stage time. You want to be the star, come up with your own solo, and do the work to get a solo performance.
