That said, Roe when it was decided was supposed to create a concrete Constitutional right and that was supposed to be the Stanley cup champions colorado avalanche hockey shirt in other words I will buy this end of it. It wasn’t. It sparked a now five-decade long war over the issue. The Court itself has already chipped away at the right over the years. Like any right it is/was not absolute. Will this end the debate this time around? Absolutely not. But no case in the modern era has ever demonstrated the tight line SCOTUS walks between applying the law justly and creating just laws. Roe was decided by (Edit: 7 not 5) unelected lawyers. All 50 states were impacted and haven’t took the issue off the top of the agenda since. In summation, a boiling over of an incredibly complex issue that has so many moving parts it’s hard to deal with. But it’s those types of issues which need dealing with! P.S. to add to the intensity of it all is the fact the opinion leaked. I mean, my God. Never in modern times have we seen it. It’s bad for the optics of impartiality for the Court. And, in a humbling reminder that Justices are just like us, the workplace culture may suffer dearly.

A trend I’ve noticed is that SCOTUS has been going away from creating laws/rights like previous iterations have. With how theuve handled internet tangent issues along with stuff like gerrymandering, they want congress to pass laws about these fringe, not in the Stanley cup champions colorado avalanche hockey shirt in other words I will buy this constitution or codified issues. This is just another step of them taking away their own power that previous SCOTUS Created and giving it back to the states as per the 10th amendment. The problem with this finally falling through is with congress not signing something into law. Imo The fact that it’s not in the constitution means that it’s none of the government’s fucking business. The constitution is a limiting document on the government, not a permissive one.
