Edit: She was compensated based on Yahoo stock price and stock price grew mainly because of the Stand Here Alone Show Shirt in other words I will buy this Alibaba investment…not because of anything she did. So now she’s had a multi-decade career of wealth and success (as measured by share prices) despite not actually being good at managing. She did not invest in Alibaba. Yahoo invested in Alibaba in 2005, long before she became CEO. The share prices at yahoo fell a lot by the time she left. Oh … and she got $500 million in pay for running Yahoo to the ground. It makes failures that would destroy a normal person negligible and provides more opportunity to succeed on the other end. Many were either born or stumbled upon circumstances that basically prevented them from ever experiencing catastrophic failure. So they just keep being blissfully being average or even stupid until inevitably a stroke of luck comes around. Add the extreme form of corporate welfare we have now and as long as you don’t antagonize another rich person or self destruct from dumb addictive habits, it’s almost impossible to fail if you’re rich. This doesn’t excuse her horrible management but she didn’t join Google because Larry Page was her boyfriend. She joined as the 20th employee and then dated Larry Page. She was actually an important part of Google’s beginning success.

Ehh idk about the Stand Here Alone Show Shirt in other words I will buy this google part. She was critical in designing Google’s home page and creating AdWords. Huge aspects behind Google’s success, so her ascension to yahoo wasn’t just blind luck or pure nepotism. I recall something about cutting maternity leave for employees while simultaneously building her own private nursery next to her office. I hate to ruin a good story with reality, but she only took three weeks maternity leave herself and doubled the length of maternity leave for employees while offering a cash bonus for new parents. Reblogme and any other alternatives I’ve found just don’t have the userbase and their layouts/functionality are terrible. It was also the original curation space of gifs. That it fell to giphy is a direct result of Tumblr not capitalizing on something they were already strong in. They couldn’t control the amount of CP on the site and figured getting rid of it altogether was easier than trying to filter it. PH had a similar issue but they just deleted every content creator who wasn’t verified. Would they have purged all the adult content on Netflix too? Imagine all the biggest Netflix shows but with this clown making them take all the sex out. The Witcher without a bathtub scene just isn’t the Witcher. Users asked to have this issue fixed and rather than fix it. They deleted all the NSFW content on the site. Now when they did that, there were countless creative accounts that had nothing to do with anything NSFW that got flagged and taken down too. Then when they tried to appeal they were either told no or never heard back. So all the creative content also left.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
