Well, if it makes you feel any better: modern humanity has only existed for about 325 to 350,000 years. Our sun is getting hotter as it ages and we estimate most complex life will be incapable of surviving on Earth in about 300,000 years. We have far less time left than we already have been a species. Another four billion years and the St mary’s international school shirt and I will buy this sun will just eat Earth whole as it expands. All life is doomed long long before that though. Hell, a massive extinction event now would mean earth would most likely never see advanced or technological life again before it was completely inhospitable to all known life. Another parent made it clear they don’t have anything against the LGBTQ community. “What we want is for the schools to let that choice, that conversation, leave that to the parents,” she said.

I hate these bad faith, disingenuous assholes. Yes, you obviously DO have a problem with this community, because you wouldn’t be there in the St mary’s international school shirt and I will buy this first place, and your entire argument is that you want to give parents the power to discriminate against this community. These people are so fucking stupid and transparent. Doublespeak like this should have fucking consequences just as severe as the consequences for the underlying bigotry. In fact I think the doublespeak and dishonesty about the bigotry may be worse. It means these people have no integrity, which makes their bigotry that much worse and that much more dangerous. And the rich sit in their chairs and laugh as they successfully pit us against one another yet again. A tale as old as human history Every time someone posts something like this I try to chime in. The rich are tricking the members of the working class into attacking minorities. Defending minorities is good class solidarity. If you are attacking minorities, you are a class traitor.
