You will buy lots of spare parts, mind, but they’re like £2 each, dyo it’s not soiooo bad… Cuisinart fancy pants kettle – the one you can set the different temperatures on. I haven’t got one, but I want one. I just bought this. I’m not sure how long a kettle should last, but I bought the exact model in 2018 and it still works but has so much scale it’s embarrassing. We have a backup kettle for when ours breaks. Also, we have a stove, a microwave, and a camping stove, all of which can boil water if the backup kettle breaks. We get through a kettle every couple of years. The last -3? kettles we haven’t had to pay for, they’ve been replaced on the 2 year guarantee. The last time we replaced it, they gave us a good brand and didn’t guarantee the new one. I think my tea addiction has cost the store money, hahaha Our current jug is a breville, and is going on 3 years old, so it’s done pretty well. The Russell Hobbs didn’t last as long as I thought it would. I’m sure many will shoot me but a Ketle a Ketle £5or £50 all dose the same its boils bloody water , had ours for 5 years only cost us £9 I used to have a kettle that had a little section on the front to put your cup with a spout above it. You’d fill the kettle and press the button and like 20 seconds later you’d have a cup of boiling water. Was great cause you could fill the kettle right up every now an then instead of having to fill a little every single time.

Fantastic if it’s just one or two people and you don’t need to boil large amounts of water for like pasta and things.
