If you can’t trust your partner to go out with their friends, either the relationship doesn’t have enough trust, the partner has already proven themselves untrustworthy, or there are trust issues to work through personally. These should be communicated and resolved as the need arises should they exist.

My partner and I are adults in our 40’s. We have the same rules for any friend: have fun and be careful. If we didn’t trust each other we wouldn’t be together. I think it’s a red flag if a guy doesn’t have any female friends. Tells me they don’t view women as people. If I can’t trust them to do literally whatever they feel like doing with anyone at any time (obviously not sexually), I’m not going to enter a relationship with them. Controlling your partner in basically any way is unacceptably toxic to me. I don’t think I’d hang out alone with a straight male friend at this point in my life. Don’t think my husband would with a straight woman either. It’s just weird for married people and not really done in my country.
