If they’re not willing to put in writing a set date for when this will be reassessed and you’ll get the Spooktober Pocket The Boys Halloween 2023 shirt What’s more,I will buy this comp and title change, then don’t trust it. Nah, you can say that if your role is changing to leadership you’ll need the compensation to match. And after 6 months, you can have a review on whether or not you’re meeting the goals they set out now for you to meet. You can say something like if you don’t meet those goals by 6 months we can discuss the compensation again. Don’t say you’re ok with them lowering it if you don’t meet the goals. But make it clear you expect a new contract and matching salary for the new role and objectives. A lot of companies are going thru force reduction of salaried employees due to the economy. This could be an opportunity or they could just be exploiting you. That would very much be a case by case basis and only you would now which one was occurring. If I were you I would make clear with the leadership a schedule for reviews and expectations that would get you to the next pay level. If they seem uncommitted then they may be just taking advantage of you

If you’re not only taking on responsibilities but they’re saving money, they want free work. At minimum, you should be given a acting bonus (+10, 20, 30%?) To add on to what others are saying here, if you try to get the Spooktober Pocket The Boys Halloween 2023 shirt What’s more,I will buy this pay raise in writing (with a specific increase amount and time frame) and they are not okay with doing this accept the title and immediately start looking for another job with that title on your resume. No, this is absolute BS. Do not accept anything. Doesn’t matter if you get something in writing. Tell them they can give you the job with pay increase, someone they obviously know and trust or they can take their chances on a stranger from outside the company. They are going to take advantage of you as free labor. I day this as a former manager. If this was a perfect world this totally makes sense, but often times that updated raise never comes. My best advice is ask that after a 1-2 month they must have another meeting where they either fully give you the pay raise or demote you back to your previous position. Regardless, put the title on your resume, as it will look good and could help you find the same position at a place that will pay you
