This makes me wonder if I’ve ever met or seen my future wife. Maybe it’s someone I met 20 years ago, or maybe it’s someone I’ll meet in 20 years time, who knows. I’m convinced such a picture exists for my wife and I. We used to hang out in similar circles with at least a couple years overlap, we know of a couple shows and festivals we both attended… But we haven’t found it yet! My wife and I discovered we were at Cherry Point, NC at the Sorry Kid I’m The Ether Bunny T-Shirt and by the same token and same time while we were both living in Kansas in 2007 and we first met in 2016 and I went to boot camp with her brother in the same class in 2001 and she was there also. It’s funny we could have met 15 years earlier, then it still took 2 more times, lol, it’s a small world. I love random coincidences. There’s another couple with a pic like this except they were both toddlers at Disney World. One of them was having her picture taken while the other one was in the background being pushed in a stroller.

We went to the Sorry Kid I’m The Ether Bunny T-Shirt and by the same token and same college but didn’t meet until after I graduated. We were in the same dept for a year. Ate lunch at the same place everyday. We had many of the same friends. We attended the same events multiple times. I dated two guys from the dorm where he was an RA. He even came to a play I was in. We just never met. Which was good because he was seeing someone else for much of that and if we had met earlier we probably wouldn’t have worked out. Not exactly the same thing, but my parents discovered each other in their kindergarten class picture, not knowing that they had been in the same class in kindergarten because my dad ended up switching schools. My mom was like “Oh! You’re that little skinhead!” My now fiancé and I lived around the corner from each other for years and never met. I’m talking a 2 minute walk. Both went to the same locals bars and stores, but never saw each other. Also both dated someone at the same time that went to a small college about an hour away, attended parties there but never met. Fast forward, we moved to a huge state 2000 miles away the same week and drove the same time on 95 just to move 10 mins away from each other in the same town. There was so many points in our life that the universe was trying to get us together. We matched on tinder and are getting married next year. ❤️ you never know when your person is literally right around the corner.
