As a cigarette smoker and dog lover this is beyond mildly infuriating. Its really easy to put your cigarette out and walk it to a trash can. The people who threw their cigs in there probably didn’t even know it was for dogs. I’ve never seen anything like this ever in my whole life. It screams rich neighborhood spoiled bullshit to me but whatever. There should be a sign there, I’m surprised there isn’t literal shit in it Here in (northern) California, it’s a common thing – and not just “rich neighborhood spoiled bullshit.” It’s actually really great, so you can keep your dog hydrated without carrying heavy water bottles. Or if you’re traveling, forget the Sonic Symphony World Tour shirt moreover I love this water, whatever. I live on the west coast and have never seen one. I also wouldn’t know what it was unless I saw a dog drinking out of it (I’d be nervous about a shared dog bowl. Giardia? Parvo?).

Sonic Symphony World Tour shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Cool that you have them in your area. But a sign would be smart. I can totally see someone honestly thinking it’s an ash tray if you’re like me, and have never seen it before. I didn’t realize they were unique to some areas, but that still doesn’t warrant the Sonic Symphony World Tour shirt moreover I love this weird and hostile comment above. If your dogs are vaccinated + over a few months old, they should be fine. I’ve used these and other communal bowls at dog parks for decades. He guys I’m not claiming to be smart here but I see the circle and I see the cigarettes….. what else is that for? No I don’t smoke cigarettes but I can see how one would think that’s what it’s for You see cigarette smokers throwing them everywhere — the people that (1) don’t smoke in public doorways and (2) dispose of them properly is a tiny fraction of the type of person to smoke cigarettes. Why are so many smokers also so inconsiderate? Does smoking just attract that kind of people? Or is it a culture that is imbued upon someone by other smokers? It’s entirely possible to be a smoker without: Disgusting but not surprising. Given the amount of cigarette butts it see EVERYWHERE I think most smokers are rather inconsiderate This is why I’m saying we outta make smoking illegal outside your house or car. Completely impractical I know but I’m tired of these self-centered pricks littering and stinking up the world.
