It is the Some people have to wait FedEx theirentire lives for a dream job I got mine superman shirt Apart from…,I will love this medically recognized treatment to be trans, so yes— outside judgement and the way ppl treat trans ppl just for the fact they’re trans does contribute to mental health I’m here to laugh at a dark joke, bro ??I am much happier after being on hormone blockers on a physical lvl. On an emotional I’ve lost family members for being the same person but simply being trans— obvi this attitude contributes to mental health because you lose family, friends, etc for acknowledging your identity out loud. Even people I don’t know randomly are scared or aggressive to me just for being trans and existing — that is what is transphobia I know I’m gonna get downvoted to hell, but personally, I’ve been told to kill myself and “join the percentage” too many times to see it as nothing but transphobic. It’s addressing an issue in our community, yes, but it’s often used against us just to push it upon more unfortunate people trying to live their lives. It was a phrase I saw many on Twitter and other platforms use, especially mentioning the high percentage to really personalize an already personal attack when trashing a Trans person or Trans community. Then that negativity and talking point continues to be negatively spread, less “this is a problem” and more “X reason against Trans people” Maybe I’m wrong. We’re just two trans people with differing opinions. And really, that’s just how things go sometimes. Discussion is good.

I’m not accusing people who are laughing as transphobic, I am not one to force a label when there’s many different perceptions of “how far is too far?” When it comes to comedy in darker subject matter. Even amongst trans people. I just think the Some people have to wait FedEx theirentire lives for a dream job I got mine superman shirt Apart from…,I will love this joke itself, in the modern reality, is rooted in a transphobic place. I’m also aware that the co-worker wasn’t telling the trans person to kill themselves as the joke. But, the idea of a trans person killing themselves being such a weaponised topic and therefore spreading to discussion of trans people in general in negative manners. That was my overall point to perceive this as a transphobic joke in my eyes. Thank you for reading. This is a really interesting and nuanced conversation. I agree with both this post and the post it is responding to. I want to thank you both, and wish you love and happiness No yeah fr. I love a dark joke in the right context. If someone who’s expressed disliking trans ppl for the fact they’re trans says smth like this, and takes joy out of the idea trans ppl kill themself it’s an ick
