For sure. All it can do is cause injuries. It will not stop it from occurring. Wow that must happen all the time for them to react like that. If I saw my mom having a seizure I’d panic. Good on those kids for helping their mom! Reminds me of the scene on dumb in dumber when the assassin eats the poison and Jim Carey is trying to revive him.

As someone who had a close family member w epilepsy who has multiple kinds of seizures daily… this made me tear up. Great kids, and awesome parents for teaching them how to help their mom if she ever had a seizure in front of them! Seeing this makes me feel so thankful to have a wife who can calmly get me safe at the Some of us listening to the osmonds still do shirt also I will do this onset of a seizure event. I really hope everyone knows this does work to stop many other kinds of seizures lol but I do love this lady and seeing her husband wack her with pillows all the time to snap out of it I’m seeing a lot of people saying a sharp blow to the sternum is recommended for PNES. I belive this woman recommends it on her tiktok but I cannot find any accredited source for this and certainly when I have had patients with PNES it was never recommended as a “treatment”. Clearly it works for her, but if you come across someone having any form of seizure, epileptic or due to PNES, do NOT hit them in the sternum. If you listen at full volume you’ll hear a voice instructing the kids. Apparently someone is looking at the camera’s from a distance able to talk through a PA system? My daughter is epileptic, and also has absence seizures and I have never heard of this technique. Usually nothing brings her out of those except rescue meds.
