Yeah I think Munich-Salzburg-Vienna-Venice-Rome-Florence is more than enough for 17 days. I bet Paris was less of a shithole back then but that should be a trip with the UK. Interesting, that hotel in Innsbruck is still there and still looks the same afaik (though with some fresh paint slapped on). Yeah I stroll past that place quite often, it‘s just old and has never really gotten the attention it deserves (inside, outside you are not allowed to change anything). Also, being tyrolians, staff could be nicer I bet Just out of curiosity, I had a look to see how many of those hotels are still in operation today, out of the 8, 1 is Permanently closed, 5 have been renamed, and 2 are still in operation today under the same name (see details below). I was absolutely about to do the exact same check. Thanks for helping me not waste time. For the total price in 1983, I really expected the hotels listed to be something really fancy.
