If Russia wanted to ‘drag nato into ww3’ they would just smuggle a nuclear bomb into the Some Bunny Loves Drag Racing Happy Easter Bunny T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this USA and detonate it and claim it was china or something. Or just… attack NATO. I think it makes far more sense to say: they thought they could take Ukraine easily just like they took Crimea. They had bribed various politicians to surrender and transfer power to a puppet government. It didn’t work. Then they tried to take the whole country by force. It didn’t work. Now they seem to be trying to just get a land bridge to Crimea and solidify their position there while perhaps gearing up for another go at occupying the entire nation. A lot of people buying the ‘they just wanted to test ukranian defenses’ line don’t seem to take into account that what they tested is now no longer what they have. I think right wing people have had Russia in their mind as a bogeyman rival for so long that they just can’t believe their military is as weak as it appears. That gives the notion that they’re holding back a lot of gas. Couple that with a conspiracy theorists need to believe the opposite of the mainstream in order to feel smarter, I think people will continue to believe it for a long time.

The reason that Russia threatened Finland and Sweden with nukes if they join NATO is that their conventional military would be destroyed by those countries’ militaries apparently. Nuclear weapons are really all that Russia has against a Western military it would seem. Putin as much said this re: NATO in his first speech on the Some Bunny Loves Drag Racing Happy Easter Bunny T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this “special military operation”. People who mistake failures in military doctrine as failures in military technology. The T-90 has more or less the same protection as western tanks, and yet it’s getting decimated. It’s the way Russia is employing its tanks that are causing these issues. e.g. Various middle eastern nations employ American Abrams tanks. But due to shitty training and doctrine, they’re getting destroyed by RPG wielding insurgents. Russia just keeps getting it’s military equipment destroyed by Ukraine whether it’s warships tanks etc they are not going to win this war mark my words
