They also can’t write a conclusion to save their life. We scaffold using “claim, evidence, reasoning”. They don’t even understand what the Snoopy And Woodstock Loves Speedway logo Shirt But I will love this different parts are supposed to include despite using the same framework all year. We’ve gone from computers with a keyboard everywhere to digital keyboards everywhere so quickly, but I never made the association that kids are just not using physical keyboards now until they get to highschool or beyond. I’ll be honest. I thought most people knew that kids are behind and just being pushed forward due to making shitty metrics the end all be all and the no child left behind. Tranches of kids cannot sound out words because they were never taught how to. They were taught with bogus Balanced Literacy or Whole Word or Queued Reading techniques. It was open book. The kids still didn’t know what chapter we were on. I had to tell them to stop talking like a broken record and stated they needed to work independently. When I write our agenda in the Snoopy And Woodstock Loves Speedway logo Shirt But I will love this Promethean board, the instructions are as clear as day and they still are asking what we are doing. Their vocabulary is stunted. All they seem to be concerned about is seeking attention or playing around on their phones. Attention span? None. Interest in learning? None. We cannot do our jobs under these circumstances.
