As a parent, I want to generally agree with this but Sold A Story and few other things hurt teachers and the Snoopy And Friends Driving Car Stanford Cardinal Forever Not Just When We Win Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this education profession’s credibility. Oh, I am all for sold a story! I am all for getting back to Phonics and teaching children. the sounds! That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Balanced literacy has hurt our students. I understand where you’re coming from, but we teachers have to teach what we are told to teach. So it’s not really our credibility that’s at stake. Teachers often have no choice if the curriculum they teach and that was the case in that podcast as well. Teachers were told to teach that curriculum. It’s the same way in upper grades, in my experience. Schools or school boards adopt a curriculum, like StudySync, and teachers have to teach it. I’m not a current teacher, but I remember growing up and it being teacher always right, unfortunately when I taught in a charter school almost two decades ago, it had already transferred to the parents making excuses and blaming child and therefore teacher always wrong. Seems there needs to be a happy medium, as teachers are not always right, but patents need to learn their kids can and are a**holes at times.

We are lucky to have relatively small classes (my smallest is 3 for AP physics C, and my largest is 27 for honors calculus, but they typically cap at 24 and average 16) For the Snoopy And Friends Driving Car Stanford Cardinal Forever Not Just When We Win Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this classes with 16, while I imagine would be a luxury for some of you, I still spend a decent amount of time on behavior management. When four of those are absent for one reason or another? Doesn’t even matter which four? Totally night and day. 12 is the sweet spot for sure I think my high school ASL class had 40 students. There weren’t even enough desks for all of the students. No wonder a couple of the students thought they could get away with vaping in the classroom… What’s funny for me is that my smallest class right now is 16, it’s by far my worst class. 12 of them don’t wanna do anything and dick around, but that could be bad luck in having a whole friend group together
