Me,and my wife have sex everynight, It definitely makes life worth living, She looks forward to it as much as i do. Doom scrolling and the Smoking they’re good for you shirt moreover I love this instant gratification you get from it probably is what’s hurting it. The brain needs rest between dopamine hits for it to be exciting. IE your brain needs rest and to get bored. Scrolling on phones and watching TV does not really accomplish this My life got way more exciting after 15. I called my drivers license my Birth Certificate. Going to college was eye-opening and… sometimes borderline dangerous. 20s independence was exhilarating. I think it’s because we did a lot of things for the first time by that age (more or less) that first times became few and far between. I remember being 19 and wanting to turn 21 so bad. Then I did. Responsibilities became more numerous, more difficult, and more expensive. The risk vs benefit scale changes completely once you are closer to having to pay your own bills. Life has to get less exciting each year that way when your old you will be happy to accept death. If life was always great it would be pretty hard to meet death comfortably imo Because you’ve developed enough at that point to perceive how shitty and futile your existence is and realize it’s never going to get better. Because… sigh. You now have to take risks without your parents encouraging you. Seriously. You now gained the ability to do your own risk assessment as well as your parents. Nobody to tell you ”It’s Oke. The dog doesn’t bite.” The training wheels are off.
