TL;DR, i lack faith in god, not because of a lack of proof that he exists (though there is plenty of that to fix; some influence to stop this train of thought anywhere or anywhen would do wonders), but because, even under the Smile With Girl Not Smiling Girl Power Resistance Shirt and by the same token and assumption he exists, there is far too much proof that i should not TRUST him to be the benevolent entity christianity claims he is. THEN there’s the issue of his followers constantly ignoring his legitimately helpful, benevolent teachings in favor of their own hatreds, but i’ve already spoken at length and don’t feel like talking politics (either current or historical) at the moment. Anti-theists in this thread: “I believe only in the natural world, can you give me physical evidence of a supernatural entity?” OP original point was quite true though. Every atheist joke or post I see on the internet is usually based on something wrong since they do not bother to learn a bit in order to fact check. So they repeat the same unoriginal cheap stuff.

I get it you are atheist, just don’t shove it on my throat every two seconds when I didn’t ask. I swear am not gonna talk about religion since I respect you not wanting to hear it. Devout atheists are the Smile With Girl Not Smiling Girl Power Resistance Shirt and by the same token and worst bc they don’t really believe in anything. There’s no discussion to be had because their belief is a fundamental lack of belief, all they can talk about is how much they hate the thing that they choose not to have in their life. I’ve noticed Anti natalists are much the same way, and really any group where the core of it is a lack of something That being said this post has nothing clever to say lol it doesn’t matter how well put together of an argument someone has in this case if the op just says “see what I mean” regardless of what they’re replying to. It’s like calling someone argumentative, there’s no way to argue against it because then “SeE yOuRe ArGuInG.” It’s just a way to shut down discussion because you don’t have any more valid arguments. To religious person, having no god leaves a hole. For a non-religious person, there is no hole, because there is no god. They dont have to activly not believe in something for which there is no credible evidence any more than they have to fundementally lack a belief in mermaids.
