However I don’t think she is the Smartass Husband And Stubborn Wife Best Friends For Life wing shirt also I will do this winner, nor should she be. Not when Anetra and Sasha are standing there, towering over her in terms of performance, wins, memorable contributions and overall consistency. That last part is what I’m docking from Mistress’ card here: while she started super strong she faltered after the midway point. Don’t get me wrong: she had some STELLAR performances and runways in the latter half- but she also got in her head quite a bit and, in my opinion, should have lipsynched at least twice. I can’t say the same for Anetra or Sasha. Especially Sasha. Anetra faltered a moment here and there but her trajectory has been upwards the entire last half. So yeah. IMO the deserving winners (barring any crazy amazing twists in the finale) are as follows: Sasha, Anetra, Mistress then Luxx. I like Mistress but her immediately brining up the fact that she raised money for the teacher to show that she does a lot of charity makes me feel like she had a motive for doing it in the first place.

Mistress is the Smartass Husband And Stubborn Wife Best Friends For Life wing shirt also I will do this main character of the season. For sure. From a competition standpoint, she was one of the best, but really started to slump near the end. She reached a peak with her Daytona Winds win and High placement in the Ball, but then the interview, the Rusical, and the makeover, and the Rumix were not great showings for her. From a personality standpoint, as shocked as we all were to learn she was only 24, sometimes that youth was really showing. The constant “internet-speak” and the self-defeating attitude anytime choreo came up. I think Mistress will be a force on a future all star season, but I don’t think she showed everything it takes to win this season. MIB’s post genuinely changed my mind about who should— and even who will— win. This is a different year than any other, and I take MIB to be arguing that we need a different kind of winner this year— one that can be a genuine force and representative in this political moments, fighting for the rights of drag queens. She sort of convinced me that that’s true! And if it is true, then I think the winner is obvious. None of the other competitors have MIB’s gravitas, speaking abilities, or represent queens more broadly. She convinced me! This year we need a fighter. And it seems like the kind of argument that might convince Ru! An impressive move, I think.
