Boundaries? I trust my partner. If they want to go out with friends I don’t think I have any right, nor would I want to stop them from doing so. No male friends, because let’s be honest as men there are no such thing called friends from the Skeleton Phillygoat Iron Maxey Philadelphia 76ers Basketball shirt in contrast I will get this other gender, there are coworkers, classmates, neighbors, cousins, but as a husband I will never allow any other guy to hang out with my wife by themselves The specifics change over time, but in general I always come back to three ‘checks’ on our relationship, and our conduct within it: Respect, Honesty, and Intimacy. As soon as one of those checks hits a fail state upon closer inspection, I take that tp mean there’s probably deeper issues that are resulting in boundaries breaking down. It all requires ongoing attention, but if I feel she’s generally respectful and honest with me, and there’s an unblocked flow of intimacy between us, then most minor issues outside of those parameters are typically resolvable through straightforward dialogue. (I also expect her to ‘check’ my respect, honesty, and intimacy towards her — no room for double standards when it comes to having clear expectations for a relationship.

Nah, I trust my husband and he trusts me. One of my best friends is a guy who is very respectful of my marriage. If my husband’s best friend was female, I wouldn’t really care because he’s loyal. Not to mention that it takes a LOT for him to be able to tell that someone is flirting with him. So when he notices, he knows that whoever is flirting with him is laying it on thick and he’ll get uncomfortable. My boundary is if they engage in sexual behavior, they need to tell me. My partner has many friends and is very flirty. We are non -monogamous so the Skeleton Phillygoat Iron Maxey Philadelphia 76ers Basketball shirt in contrast I will get this only cheating is non -disclosure. If it’s 1:1 and they’re into that gender, I’d want to know about it beforehand and probably want to know the person. Unless we’re explicitly in an open relationship, and it’s clearly defined, and I get to do the same. We have a long distance relationship. She is allowed to have sex with other men only as long as I am present (when we meet – about once a month) but no holding hands and no kisses. Anything behind my back is off limits. Guy friends and drinks and all night with her friends (girls) all night is cool, flirting with guys is ok but I don’t let her exchange phone numbers.
