I always found a couple levels higher of smithing stones than bell bearings, so even with bell bearings I still had to put all my highest tier stones into one main weapon. Also there’s so many completely useless items and dungeon rewards that once you know what you want and where it is, the gameplay time is shaved in half pretty much I wanna also double down on the gank/reused bosses cause that shit gives me an itch on my neck that I can only scratch with a noose, especially when bosses become just normal enemies out and about I’ll give it a 10 out of 10 and defend many aspects of the game, but it 100% has many flaws still. Flaws I’ll forgive, but flaws that I won’t deny.

Plus her quest was boring. a four armed blue witch who had a role in the death of a god and the shattering of the elden ring isn’t interesting? ? (I’m talking about Maliketh as a build melee, maybe I just casually trogger some weird moveset triggers, but I doubt) I probably could’ve best Malenia solo with patience, but Maliketh I don’t know about. His 2nd form was so fast I could barely hit him. I’d dodge all his attacks and swing asap, but he’d still dodge away. You do realize how that sounds, right? Many bosses feel impossible in these games. Sword Saint Isshin is a great example, he feels completely insurmountable when you first face him. But if you only try twice, that’s going to be your opinion of him forever. If you put in the work, you realize it can be done. Maliketh is similar (though not even remotely as hard as Sword Saint). His second phase is massively punishing, fast, and god forbid you use holy damage because he is highly resistant. However he has some serious weaknesses; low health, huge dead zones on many of his swings, and can be parried with Blasphemous Claw.
