Trust me, they ruin the Silvio Dante HBO TV Series The Sopranos T-Shirt But I will love this good stuff too. I should have said “I’ll no longer buy a good set”. I simply replace the mediocre sets once a year because whether you buy a quality set or not, guests will use forks in pans and do whatever it is they do to knives to destroy them so quickly (and I do sharpen them). Yes, absolutely! We did a test run before we ever rented it out. We live above it, do our own cleaning, and block out a lot of dates for friends, family, and for 1 of us when we’re coming home late from a night out. I don’t own an Airbnb, but I do agree with this. Recently stayed in an Airbnb, with my mom, for 4 days. Host had provided 1 washcloth, and 2 bath towels. For 4 days! No bath mat but the bathroom had a tile floor. Toaster didn’t work. No salt, pepper. Silverware was falling apart. Completely bare bones. Obviously he has never stayed there. Could have been a much better experience. We just got back from a weekend at ours – we go every month or two. We have fun out there but it’s always work too – making lots of small fixes, supply refills, etc. I spent this morning tightening screws on all the deck furniture.

Lol….the Silvio Dante HBO TV Series The Sopranos T-Shirt But I will love this number of people that use dull knives and crap kitchenware would surprise you apparently, but yea…youvare correct. Slumlords have been being pushed out by regulation, and have begun to creep into the short term rental market. I stay at my place about once a month – it’s my second home. I make lists of all the things I notice and fix them as k go. As a result I put almost all profits back into the house consistently. It’s a great house! There is a big difference in homes depending on whether the owner/host ever stays there or not. However the difference isn’t always the quality of the items, more the details. We own quite a few vacation rentals… and in part we can afford them because we’re fairly cheap in our primary home. We do provide much better TVs, kitchenware, furniture, decor in our rentals than our primary home.
