The failure for the Sidney prescott scream movie shirt and by the same token and same concept to sustain itself once Russia’s focus changed seem to suggest the whole thing is a Russian project to disrupt Canada and the US. Wasn’t this whole event supposed to be “not allowed?” They’re unwilling to purposefully cause traffic gridlock in defiance of the government, because the government wouldn’t let them? I’m pretty sure you need one of those to drive a semi though. So now he’s confessing to his “Buddies” driving illegally? It’s like that part in Old School where “everybody’s going streaking!” But it’s actually just a drunk Will Farrell running down the boulevard naked. At this point, I don’t think even they know what they are protesting anymore. Now that the Russian voice whispering in their ear has gone silent, they don’t have enough braincells to rub together to keep going, even if only on the fumes. They saw the “protestors” in Canada and saw them making others miserable and throwing their weight around suffering few if any repercussions. The “protest” was always a pretext to just roam the countryside and cause mayhem and terrorize innocent people and act like they were important. When the hammer finally came down (after taking WAY too long) it showed them for who they really were. They weren’t practicing civil disobedience for a greater cause. They just wanted to hurt people and use this “cause” as an excuse. I just watched that video where people were selling random right wing merchandise at CPAC or something, stuff like “we the people wine”. Near the end of the video this guy was explaining “Let’s Go Brandon”, said it meant Fuck Joe Biden, he was asked why Fuck Joe Biden, he responds because he’s a piece of shit. Why is he a piece of shit? Blank stare…it’s just cool to hate the other party for no reason I guess. Don’t question the message just regurgitate.

Ending the Sidney prescott scream movie shirt and by the same token and mandates (which in all honesty at this point were very few and far between for the average person) and the CDC repealing its recommendation for masks in indoor spaces has done more to cripple the tide of fascism than anything. Their meltdown over masks was a HUGE driving factor and unifying issue for them. Now that it’s over, these right-wing fear and hate mongers will have to find something else to scream while clutching pearls. The fact that is coincided with Ukraine/Russia and the hit Russian bot farms will take is just a happy coincidence. Even here on Reddit, the tone of the comments down at the bottom of all these threads are much different. Fewer unified, crafted replies and a lot more “DEMS COPING” “TRUTH SOCIAL LMAO”, just a lot more that sound like some 8th grader posting from health class and a lot less gaslighting replies that are the hallmark of bad faith actors. According to my mom they’re protesting “in support of the truckers in Canada that got arrested just for protesting” ?
