We’ve just buried my grandmother and the Show Your True Color LGBT Shirt and I love this whole process was excruciating. I swear they get most of their money from families that don’t want to deal with the extra stress and just throw money at them just so they can breathe. You pay for education, then are forced to take a ton of classes that have nothing to do with your major. Also, sometimes there are classes for your major, however, they are bullshit fluff classes. Such a waste of time and money. Insurance. Required to have it, pay continuously regardless of if you ever use it, and if you ever NEED it? Half the shit isn’t covered anyways… OH, and your future cost is going to go up because you’re no longer a trouble free donator to their company’s revenue Like 10% actually gets recycled and less if you are live in a non costal state (harder to ship to poor countries).

Health care in America. There is no goddamn way that shit cost that if it did nobody in the Show Your True Color LGBT Shirt and I love this world would have free health care. You guys are killing yourselves Cars, and how most of the US was built (or torn down and rebuilt) specifically to force one to own, maintain, and insure a car to participate in society. Sit down, tally up the gas, insurance, mechanic costs, and payments/taxes (if applicable), then ponder what you would do with the extra cash. I’m putting 4-6% of my paycheck every 2 weeks. Let’s say 10% a month. That’s 10% I could personally invest, use for credit cards (to avoid interest), or just afford to replace or fix something. But everyone older than me, American culture, and common sense say that I need to give 401k investment firms my % to sit on for 45 years and grow. Now flip the coin and remember that these programs were developed, are being voted on and maintained, and eventually drawn on first.. from a generation that stays/stayed with a company for 15+ years. But the whole “save for your retirement, stick with company X for 20 years and retire a millionaire off your 401k” definitely feels like a scam. Health insurance, there is a million and one ways to pay for healthcare costs the least of which is a corporate monopoly whose primary method of making money is to withhold treatment while forcing consumers to pay out of pocket or risk dying.
