In Indonesian, the She’s My Drunker Half Matching Couple Boyfriend Mardi Gras T-Shirt moreover I love this word “we” has two variants. Either it includes the person we are talking to or not. English doesn’t have this concept so they work based on context and assumption, or by clarifying who “we”are. Sadly though this concept is a bit lost in modern parlance where people would just default to the “we” variant that includes the other person when it doesn’t because the other variant sounds more formal. I speak Slovene. It’s one of few languages that has a ‘dual’ in addition to the singular and plural. It’s not something i desperately crave in English or anything, but it’s a neat thing. Combine that with the fact it’s a gendered language (3 grammatical genders, though the neuter or ‘middle gender’ is extremely rare compared to the male and female ones, and hardly ever used for any living beings), verbs changing based on gender and number, and you’ve got so many forms!

“sem šlo” (basically nobody is going to use this, because it’s effectively using it/its pronouns, which is already rare enough, and most nonbinary or agender people here just use some combination of the She’s My Drunker Half Matching Couple Boyfriend Mardi Gras T-Shirt moreover I love this he/she equivalents anyway, but technically the phrase is grammatically correct and as someone who uses any pronouns i felt like including it) It’s something that’s just so… simplified, i guess? in languages like English, where a single verb form covers everyone. (With some exceptions like the verb ‘be’ turning into am/is/are, i suppose) In Italian we have a shortcut to curse God directly and if I am not wrong this shortcut exists only in the Italian language Turkish here. When I was in the US, I wanter to use “kolay gelsin” so much but couldn’t. It means “may the (work) be easy for you” and said frequently to people who are working. What am I supposed to say a guy who is picking cigarette butts from the ground, “take it easy?” lmao.
