80s and 90s for totally different reasons. In the She’s Got Gaps Got Gaps Vintage Eye of the Tiger Rockys Motivation T-Shirt But I will love this 80s it was all about big, bold color, and people really got creative. The 90s ushered in a backlash against that look, so the trend became pared-down and simple. But you could still have a fun pop of color through your minimalist makeup. I still love both eras for these reasons. Yeah when people recreate makeup looks from other times it almost always looks better because of the product quality and improved skill. There were definitely skilled makeup artists but I feel like they were less common than now, where your average high schooler can probably do a full face that looks professional. And all the different products and methods of sharing ideas via social media, results in so much diverse and super creative looks. Gimme the 40’s or 50’s! But, I am biased as that is my daily makeup look. I don’t follow any of the trends, I wear what looks good on my face, and my atheistic!

Thanks to a good lash extension, I don’t even have to do wings!!! But that red lip and a good blush is my LIFE!!!!! The makeup we got in between Instagram makeup and the She’s Got Gaps Got Gaps Vintage Eye of the Tiger Rockys Motivation T-Shirt But I will love this natural face… that transition. Small winged eyeliner, fresh face, but bold lips and colorful eyeshadow still acceptable. Brows usually were still thick but much more natural looking. I like colour, so not a fan of the current nudes. I liked the 40s and 50s decades – a nice red lip and blush look really lovely to me. Granted, a red lip for day ware may be a little much, but I at least like to see a nice pink lipstick and blush. I still have hope that nudes will go out of style, although it doesn’t seem like they are going anywhere. But hey, skinny jeans finally seem to be going off trend so there is always hope :-). Not necessarily the best but 60s makeup is definitely most my vibe – going all in on the eyes while muting down the lips? That’s just what looks best on me and what I like doing for muself
