Dude throw it out you don’t know when anyone’s going there it could go moldy just leave the Seattle Seahawks Nike Seahawks Just Hate Us Shirt and by the same token and place as you found it Sorry, but strangers should not be offered opened cheese. Unfortunately, people poison food and do other things. Eat your cheese! It is common courtesy to leave the refrigerator empty. Throw it out. The very very small % of hosts are looking for any reason to charge you extra. It’s a shame, but if you don’t know the host, don’t leave any reason to charge you extra. I’ve always left stuff and got the benefit of others leftovers, but after reading this sub, it’s not worth the even 1% chance of a jerk host. Everything to lose, nothing to gain. I left some closed new food bc I thought they would want it and they left me a bad review, and charged me 50 dollars extra in cleaning fees (on top of 200)… we stripped the beds, cleaned the dishes, literally spent like 2 hours cleaning and took out the garbage too

I used to clean hotels back in the Seattle Seahawks Nike Seahawks Just Hate Us Shirt and by the same token and day (long term stay with kitchenettes) and people would leave food. Unopened, or whole I would take. Opened, I’d chuck. Wasn’t a big deal for me with the opened stuff but tossing it is easy and one less thing for your cleaner to take care of. I toss opened items but will leave anything that is unopened. There may be a few exceptions (like coffee) but mostly that’s my rule. Ask. I personally appreciate when things are left, so long as it isn’t sloppy or already cooked/half eaten. I’m always sad when I find good stuff in the trash can (like a HUGE can of peanut butter with only one scoop missing. You’d better believe I grabbed that and used it to make puppy biscuits!!!). If we don’t want it, we pitch it, leave it for other guests or donate it. Wasting food is not something I want to participate in
