Initially, whem I heard that Target was suffering backlash from the Seattle Seahawks alex collins rest in peace shirt and I love this right, I was inclined to make my first Target purchase ever. But now that they’ve caved, I won’t patronize them after all. I think its funny that republicans, specifically MAGA republicans previously referred to liberal/left/democrats as intolerant snowflakes when they are largely behind movements like this. There is a market for pride merchandise and we live in a capitalistic society. I have no problem with people trying to profit off of trends in the country and I am surprised that republicans, who have historically been very capitalistic, are taking issue with this situation. Many conservatives are upset about not just letting children decide their gender, but actively facilitating it. The number of “gender-affirming” mastectomies performed on teenagers has increased exponentially in the last few years, according to a study published in JAMA Pediatrics.

Regarding the Seattle Seahawks alex collins rest in peace shirt and I love this Target controversy, conservative commentator Matt Walsh said it best: “What Target is doing is far worse than anything Bud Light did. They are selling chest binders and ‘tuck-friendly’ bathing suits for children” It’s like when conservatives thought they were “owning the libs” by protesting Target when the company decided to remove gendered labels from their clothing years ago. Nothing happened. Because those people didn’t shop at Target to begin with. They shop at Walmart like the brain dead American trash they are. I mean…the CEO is still going to get paid $17+ million dollars whether they’re losing money or not. They’ll bounce back. Just like Bud Light I don’t own any target stock so I don’t care, but this may be a buy opportunity since these things usually blow over quickly (bud light may be the exception). 719 more repliesFake. It will bounce back and probably be higher than before. It’s all bc of the media bullshit that is clearly simple rage bait. the fundimentals of a company haven’t been important for much of the last decade and suddenly the investor class has realized they need to make money on their stocks this war-on-woke narrative being pumped by fox will vanish once the election is properly underway as they’ll be sucking up to ronny desantis too hard and suddenly people will forget which companies are woke or not.
